Hey, this is my first story on FanFiction. For those of you who may have seen this story before, I really suggest re-reading, because it is TOTALLY edited. Like, I changed my mind about all of it. And I know that last time I pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth, but this time, I will try harder to stick with it and not give up. I am going to write this story as quick as I can, because: (1) Friday the 13th is going to be happening on 7/13/2012 and (2) I am going to be starting a job near the middle of next month, and I would be staying with my friend who doesn't have a computer (which is weird, I understand), so I don't want to have to leave this for a month without finishing it.

Disclaimer: All of the characters, places, etc. are owned by Dan Schneider and Nickelodeon. I own nothing but the albums.

Going to Hollywood Arts is super fun. Tons of cool people, great food, and AMAZING classes. That is, until Friday the 13th. At this school, they go ALL OUT to make it everyone's superstitions come true. Black cats, salt shakers randomly placed throughout the hallways, mirrors in places where they may get broken easily, etc. From what I have heard, none of the students really think much of it, as no one ends up having much bad luck, so it should be kind of fun.

~TORI'S POV~

"Hey, Tori!" I hear as I stand at my locker, thinking about all the homework I have to complete, and it's only halfway through the school day. "Look what I'm dressed as."

I turn to see Cat dressed as a… cat. A black cat to be exact.

"Guess what day it is Tori! Guess, guess, guess!" Cat exclaims. As I am about to open my mouth to answer, she says, "Fine, I'll tell you. It's Friday the 13th! Spooky! Haha."

"Yes. I know this Cat. But, why are you dressed as a cat?" I ask her, turning back to my locker.

"I'm dressed as a black cat because they bring bad luck, but I want to show people that black cats can be good luck," she explained. When I turned to see her, I noticed a few people staring at her, and one guy even ran into an opened locker. I decided not to tell that to Cat.

"Uhm… Cat, maybe we should get to Sikowitz's class so you don't… er… so you can… spread the good luck," I said guiding her to the classroom.

"TORI!" Cat screeched. "Watch out!"

I stopped walking and left and right. Nothing but a few students sitting around. "Cat. Why did you tell me to stop?"

"There's a salt shaker on the ground. If you spill it, you will have bad luck," she told me, clearly concerned.

"Cat, I am not much of a superstitious person. So nothing will happen, because I won't be anticipationg comething," I told her. I kicked over the salt shaker to demonstatw, causing Cat to gasp. "See, nothing bad is happening."

"Tori, why did you do that? The only way to prevent some of the bad luck now is to throw some of the spilled salt over your shoulder," she told me.

"I don't need to do that. Come on Cat. I don't want to be late."

I started walking, stopped turned around, and saw Cat throw salt over her shoulder. "Cat, let's go," I said. She started walking, nervously glancing around.

So, what do you guys think? This is just a short opening chapter, but they will be slightly longer as they go.

QUESTION TIME! What supertstions do you have? I might put some of your ideas in this story, so answer quickly.
