"Don't go!"

They had not said a word to each other in the last thirty minutes, not since she moaned his name in ecstasy and he brushed a strand of hair from her face and whispered "are you okay?" So this break in silence was enough to startle Alicia, whose hand had been reaching out to grab the door and flee the Presidential Suite.

That hand dropped to her side with his words and without turning around to look at him, she sighed and said, "I have to."

He had seen the way her shoulders slumped in defeat just then and not wanting to cause any problems, he nodded his head. Then realizing he was being stupid because she couldn't see him, replied, "I know." Of course he knew she had responsibilities that she had put on hold for him. He had asked for just one hour and they had exceeded that time frame. Honestly, he knew an hour with Alicia would never be enough. Not when he wanted forever.

After what felt like a lifetime of silence, but was probably only 90 seconds, she went to grab the door again, and this time she had barely heard his whispered "stay . . . please."

He was begging her to stay and Alicia had always been a bit of a pushover, not wanting to disappoint anyone and he had said the magic word: please.

She turned around slowly and the look she saw on his face was so sincere, so loving, so raw, she couldn't remember why she had been trying to leave the room in the first place.

Without a thought, just on instinct alone, she walked back to the bed where Will still laid and she kissed him. Unlike the kisses they shared earlier, this one held a promise, a promise that this was not the end of their story - that "bad timing" existed no more. This kiss was about forever. She was telling him that she had to leave now, she had to officially end things with Peter, but that she would be back very soon because she was promising forever.

"I'll talk to you later."

"Yeah . . . text me when you get home" and upon seeing her questioned stare, finished, "I worry about you, I want to know that you're safe" and Alicia knew that this was Will's way of promising forever in return.

She drove home with a feeling of contentment, not because she had finally slept with Will after wanting to for so long, but because she now knew that their future together was forever.
