Disclaimer: The Harry Potter characters are not mine, nor am I making any money writing this.

A/N: As with all of my stories it's extreme AU and characters are OOC. Uber kudos go to my betas DrunknMunky85, Liidg and King of the Ashers, if you haven't read their work you should really check it out, they don't know how to do a bad story. Major Angst Warning!

Hermione sat leaning against the head of the black marble double sarcophagus unaware of the cold air of the mausoleum that chilled her to the bone. She religiously came here four times a year, spending the whole day each time just sitting there no matter what was going on in the outside world.

But today, today she had no need or desire to leave. She had accomplished nearly everything she had set out to do when she graduated from Hogwarts. Though she felt no pride in her accomplishments, truthfully all she has felt for the past fifteen years is a deep unending well of loss that has grown over time. Now though she could finally rest.

5 Days Later...

Harry knew exactly where to look for her and found her body leaning against Bellatrix's and Narcissa's shared sarcophagus. He didn't need to feel for a pulse, her face had never looked so peaceful in her life since the death of her wives. Though he was going to miss her fiercely, he was glad to see that she found the peace she couldn't find in life.

He sent out his patronus to the rest of the search parties, letting them know what he found. Harry jumped back at the sound of grinding stone and right before his eyes the double sarcophagus turned into a triple. Just as suddenly Hermione's information was inscribed between Bellatrix's and Narcissa's information.

As soon as the others arrived they immediately attempted to figure out what happened to the highly respected witch. Harry rolled his eyes, he already knew what killed her and thought they were fools for not being able to figure it out.

Without a word to the others, Harry shifted the lid of the sarcophagus off, picked up Hermione's body and placed it in between the two other bodies where she belonged. Upon permanently sealing the sarcophagus for good this time he told the others. "She finally allowed her broken heart to kill her."

With that he walked away saddened, yet euphoric over his "sister's" tranquility.
