Artemis laid in bed, the moon shining in between the cracks of the curtains. Casting a small hue to rain down onto the bed. The blonde sighed and turned her head from the wall to look at the alarm clock. The flashing red numbers signaled it was just past three in the morning. Artemis placed her arm over her eyes, letting out a loud sigh. It was nights like these that wouldn't let her sleep.

The nights of not being able to sleep, the bed and room felt colder than it has ever felt. Just then the sound of rain pelted against the window. Making it clear that the moon that just was streaming through the curtains is now gone. Only to be placed with an even sadden tone. Just then a loud rumble broke through the quiet house, shaking it with it's force. Artemis laid there for a few seconds before a cry broke through the air. She sat up quickly, then ran a hand through her messy blonde locks.

The blonde climbed her way out of bed and down the small dark hallway. Opening the door at the end of the hall. She stopped in the doorway, listening to the cry continue. She then pushed herself to walk into the room, towards the white crib at the other end of the room. The blonde smiled when she came to it. Unlatching the bars, letting them down slowly, and bending down to pick up the small baby inside. She brought the child close to her heart and chest and slowly began to rock it.

Trying to comfort the infant in any way she could. Artemis began to sing a lullaby, not really remembering much of the words, making up parts here and there. Within a couple of minutes the baby began to calm, looking up into matching dark blue eyes. Artemis smiled at the child, running her finger against short red locks that littered the infant's head. Artemis continued to walk the room, rocking the baby in her arms.

Suddenly a chill ran down her back, she quickly looked up and smiled, she could feel it, she could feel him, he was here. Even if it wasn't possible, she knew Wally was here watching her and their daughter. Their daughter, yes, she found out a couple of weeks after his death. At first she was even more heart broken, but knew she'd keep the baby, a little over nine months later she gave birth to a girl, which she named Westlyn, Westlyn Jade Crock. A name that has both of her parent's names in it. A name that tells others who her father is, and that he was a brave man.

Okay yeahh... This is really short for me! But you know I wrote it for a friend. I made it happy and cute at the end instead of sad and angst like sooo yeah! I dont normally write this pairing and it breaks so many rules of mine but for a friend anything! And the pairing is kinda cute~ I magically pulled the baby's name out of the air. In my head canon Artemis was pregnant when Wally died but only by a week or two~
