S.R: This should be much better than it was. Now for those of you that read these little Author's notes I do. I'm not really changing the story, so much as I am cleaning it up and making things easier to understand. Any who a couple things I want to point out real quick:

1. thank you Azza1608for letting me use Lykyria in this story.

2. This chapter is going to have a few time skips in it as Chapter two is after the dragons have disappeared.

3. I'm making up names for Natsu and Zeref's parents. Only their father's name is revealed now. Their mother's name isn't going to be revealed for a long time.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN FAIRY TAIL OR ANY OF IT'S CHARACTERS. IF I DID IT WOULDN'T HAVE ENDED WITH NATSU AND LUCY BEING TOGETHER!

"Are you sure this is a wise idea Zeref?"

A rather large red scaled dragon asked, as he stared down at the black haired teenage boy in front of him.

"Honestly, this is the best we can do right now. But I'm slowly going mad and I don't know how long it'll be safe around me so they're better off in your care anyway. Just make sure that when the time comes you all use that spell."

"Why is this plan your fail safe? Why put that responsibility on their shoulders if you fail? They are just children!"

Despite the boy's assurance that they were taking the best course of action, not all of the dragons present agreed with him. The white and feathery Grandeeney instantly questioning him, a slightly frustrated tone to her voice.

"Grandeeney that's because if he's not able to defeat Acnologia, they'll be his next targets simply because of what he had to do. This plan is just the best chance they have of surviving."

The other white dragon in the room spoke up, trying to put things in a way that they would make the most sense.

"I don't care what you tell them about me or if you mention me at all but, make sure they are ready to fight Acnologia if I fail. Not only must they be capable of standing against him they must be willing, and not just to survive but to put him out of his misery now that he has gone insane."

Zeref spoke, ignoring the debate in the background between the dragons. He knew that Igneel, the red dragon he was talking to, would understand and make sure things worked out as best they could.

"I still don't understand why we don't end that fool Igneel. We don't need to cower and let this brat handle Acnologia for us."

The silvery colored dragon that stood just to Igneel's left commented in a gruff tone. His displeasure at not being allowed to fight the terror they were discussing evident.

"Hush Metalicana! That brutish monster has already slain most of our brethren. Plus he managed to harm Igneel."

The shiny and glittery female dragon that stood beside him spoke, her sharp tone showing the worry she'd feel if he fought.

"Besides, according to the gods as Acnologia is both a human, and human made monster it falls to the humans to defeat him. The most we can do is lend them our aid."

A black dragon who was encased in shadowy wisps of magic chimed in.

"Then all this Zeref brat needs to do is ask us!"

Metalicana tried to argue, not wanting to give in just yet.

"I have, just not to fight. Didn't Igneel explain it when he gathered you all? Even though the children are now demons of my creation, they don't have access to that power yet. But they still need a way to defend themselves. I had Igneel gather you all together right now so that I could ask you to teach these young ones how to defend themselves. I beg of you all to lend your aid so that they can grow strong enough to unlock their demonic powers."

Zeref asked, bowing low as he finished speaking. His words were met with silence as the dragons finally understood why their king had asked them to gather.

"And we will do exactly that. Now then you said it'll take you a few years to build this 'Eclipse Gate' to send them into the future?"

Igneel responded, using his authority as Dragon King to officially declare that assisting the children in their survival was how they would offer their aid in defeating the monster that is Acnologia. He then continued on, asking about the second half of the plan the young man in front of him had come up with.

"Yes… If I could do it quicker I would but there are certain materials that I still need to gather before I can even start. Also I will not see you again before I send them into the future, so I thank you for accepting my plan and working with me."

Zeref responded, happy that Igneel had agreed on his plan.

"I should be the one thanking you. You're plan will allow us to prevent the extinction of our kind."

"Well then. I'll be off now."

Zeref responded curtly, wanting to hurry up so their plan could progress. He wasn't sure how the future would turn out, but he needed to finish the 'Eclipse Gate' project first. Zeref wanted to ensure that the children he'd revived by recreating them as demons would survive. He bowed once more to Igneel before turning on his heel and marching out of the room. The dragons waited for a few minutes in silence before being certain that he was out of earshot.

"Igneel, my king are you positive we should be working with him? There was something rather unnatural about him."

A deep oceanic blue scaled dragon asked as he looked towards Igneel.

"Of course there was. As you know Acnologia has gone insane due to the experimentation that was done on him… The first thing that man did after obtaining his freedom was destroy his hometown. Zeref was the only survivor, and in his grief he began researching the forbidden knowledge of bringing someone back to life. He succeeded and created a new kind of magic, but the god Ankhseram has cursed him for it. That unnatural feeling you are talking about is the result of the curse placed on Zeref. He was able to revive these kids, but his magic is now unstable. It's why he feels that it's his job to destroy Acnologia."

Igneel explained, revealing to his fellow dragons the reasoning behind Zeref's request.

"Because he was cursed for giving life, he feels that his power is meant to take life instead and so is planning to use it to destroy Acnologia. He wants us to take care of these kids because he isn't sure his sanity will be in tact afterwords. Is that the take away of the story Igneel?"

"Yes, yes it is Rivarin."

Igneel responded. He knew just as well as Zeref did, that the curse would break his mind. That was why he'd agreed to Zeref's plan before even bringing it to his fellow dragons attention… That and he felt it was the least he could do to honor Zeref's father. The man was one of the few humans Igneel called a dear friend, and it had saddened him greatly when he learned of Tsuya's death.

"If that's all each set of mates can take care of one child. Skiadrum and I will take the smaller of the two dark haired boys. The one named Rogue."

Came the voice of one of the female dragons. Geldrisa the Pysonic dragon, whose body was lilac in color moved forward and gently placed the sleeping form of the smaller of the two black haired boys on her back.

"Rivarin and I will take the girl. I believe Zeref said her name is Wendy."

Grandeeney stated as she softly placed the only girl amongst the children on her back.

"Weisslogia and I will take the Sting, the blonde child.."

Announced Aurelia. Her glowing green clawed hand easily grabbing the blonde boy and placing him on Weisslogia's back. He stirred lightly from the movement, so she consciously made her ethereal green glow dim down a bit in response.

"Opalenie and I shall take the other black haired brat then. Zeref said his name is Gajeel right?"

Metalicana gruffly spoke up, not bothering to be gentle about grabbing the boy. Though he did make it as quiet as he could, as sound was the larger concern for waking the children in his mind.

"If you are fine with their choices Igneel that leaves us with Zeref's younger brother, the pink haired child known as Natsu."

Spoke Lykyria, Igneel's purple scaled mate. Despite the fact he hid it well she was able to see he was happy with the idea so she softly picked up the pink haired boy.

"These arrangements are fine with me. However they must know each other so once or twice a year I'd like to gather them together for a few days and allow them to bond."

Igneel whispered to his fellow dragons, most of them just nodding in agreement.

"We do that anyway my king, so it's an easy request."

Rivarin reminded the Dragon King.

After that, the dragons exchanged parting words having decided it was time they all split off to create new dens in which to hide from Acnologia and his unending slaughter of dragon kind.

Time Skip

For the first year the dragons focused on making sure the kids wouldn't be too stupid or ignorant when it came time for them to return to human civilization. Even the hyperactive Sting payed attention to what he was told, though they quickly discovered his stupidity and foolishness was just an act. While all five of the children could play dumb, Sting made it look like an art form due to basing his personality off of the idea.

Because Zeref hadn't told the dragons everything about the demonic power the children possessed, it was decided that rather than try and force them to unlock the power they would teach the children magic. This decision came about once the dragons noticed the wells of magic within the kids. But they didn't know what magic the children would be able to use naturally so they agreed to teach the young ones Dragon magic.

Natsu had absorbed everything Igneel and Lykyria taught him like a sponge. Within the first year of training Natsu had already learned to control both Igneel's Fire and Lykyria's Gravity. Though he still had a long way to go before he could be considered an expert the two were confident that he would be a master of both his Fire and Gravity Dragon magics after only two decades of training, which was unheard of since the last time a dragon had attempted to teach a human how to use Dragon magic, they had taken 5 years just to learn the basics. On top of learning their magic and becoming a Dragon Slayer, Natsu had discovered a talent for regular Fire magic, being quite capable with Fire Make magic. Due to his eagerness to learn Natsu convinced the two dragons to teach him Telepathy, Transformation, and Re-equip so he could be prepared for a larger variety of situations.

Metalicana and Opalenie while proud of the effort their black haired child had put into learning their magic in just the first year of training were at a loss. Despite being able to manipulate any metal or gemstone with their magic, he himself could only create Iron and Amethyst from his magic. Though he did have a natural gift for Earth magic that they had discovered and were nurturing as well. Gajeel after hearing about Natsu learning to use magic for different situations demanded to be taught Re-equip magic as well, so that he could have access to metals and gemstones without having to carry them on his person. That was his solution for when his magic would start to run low during training, use his Re-equip to get a chunk of metal to eat and restore his magic so he could continue pushing himself during his training.

Grandeeney and Rivarin were blessed by how easy it was to teach the little girl they were protecting. Wendy had taken to their magic quite easily, though as she didn't have a large enough magic container to handle the strain she was only capable of working on one or two Dragon magic spells a day for three hours before exhausting her magic supply. So to help her learn to control her magic and how to shape her spells they also taught her Water Make magic. About half way through the year they had learned she had a natural talent with Teleportation magic and were allowing her to work on it as well. As the first year of training past by she was making large gains in increasing the size of her magic container.

Skiadrum and Geldrisa had very little problems with teaching Rogue. Due to his quiet nature and his high intelligence it was fairly easy for them. They'd show him a spell, explain it to him, and give another demonstration but slowed down to allow him to see every detail and within a week he'd learn it. Thanks to that, and the fact that Geldrisa was able to read his subconscious to learn what his natural magic was the two had made a lot of progress in training Rogue. Once they learned that his birth magic was Plant magic they slowly started teaching him about it as well, though with his cunning he had dedicated his time with Plant magic to learning how to slow down and entrap his enemy.

Despite their young charge Sting and his eager attitude, Weisslogia and Aurelia had a hard time teaching him. He was too energetic and carefree. Because of that while he was able to learn Weisslogia's Light Dragon magic, he hadn't yet gotten a grasp of Aurelia's Spectral Dragon magic. His energy lent itself well to the positive power behind the Light Dragon magic, but because of that energy he was unable to sit still and focus himself well enough to learn Aurelia's magic beyond the basics. It shocked the two dragons when he unintentionally discovered his birth magic. Though that shock was due to the fact that such an energetic kid would have Sealing magic, and that his proficiency with it from the very first time he used it was amazingly high, having accidentally sealed Aurelia's magic. But with his birth magic revealed the two were confident that he could eventually learn the Spectral Dragon magic from Aurelia, because learning it would teach him to slow down and focus like he would need to.

It was the eighth gathering of the dragons and their young children. Four years had now passed since they were given to the Dragons by Zeref and this was the third year that they had been teaching the children magic. At this point none of them questioned their roles in helping the kids grow up. They had bonded with the young ones enough to not just be a caretaker to them but to be their actual parents as far as the kids were concerned. They had kept up their training and were all very talented magicians despite the fact that they were all only six or seven years old. Igneel and the other dragons were positive that if they were to test their young charges magic level all five of them would be at the level of a B class mage according to human standards.

Even though the kids only saw each other twice a year, they had developed strong bonds. Though the first time they had met was filled with an awkward tension, they quickly got to know each other. Now that they had known each other for a few years they were really close friends. Close enough that they claimed each other as their siblings… Well for the most part.

"Hey Natsu?"

"Yes Wendy?"

"Will you be my mate?"

At this the other Slayers had gone silent watching the situation unfold. The dragons who had been watching from a distance all chuckled, though Grandeeney and Lykyria were muttering to themselves about young love and hoping Natsu wouldn't break her heart. Aurelia chortled at her two friends as she had to remind them the kids were still too young to know what a being someones mate truly meant. When the three female dragons turned their attention back to the scene at hand, Natsu had finally recovered enough to answer the girl.

"How about this Wendy. When we are older, if you haven't changed your mind or found someone else I'll be your mate. I promise."

"I guess that works Natsu. Don't break this promise!"

Igneel had snorted at that. Having known Natsu's father and the fact that he had several lovers, he could see the same personality in his pink haired son. But he knew that wouldn't stop Wendy. After all it wasn't uncommon for a Dragon to have multiple mates, especially the more powerful ones like himself. The only reason he had just one mate was Lykyria was able to match and satisfy him in every way.

Natsu and Wendy, due to being raised by dragons would naturally exhibit the same traits and habits. So Igneel was confident that when the day came, Natsu would have a few lovers, but Wendy would make herself known as the alpha. Similar to what happened, with Natsu's father Tsuya, and his wife.

While Igneel started reminiscing the female dragons of the group were proud of Natsu's answer. After all they had only told the young ones that mates are together almost 24/7, but nothing else. However they knew they had to teach the children about what it means to have a mate and what makes a mate so special.

The female dragons were positive Gajeel wouldn't care, Rogue would brush it off as unimportant, and Sting wouldn't understand. They were sure Natsu would take after his father who they had heard about from Igneel, so they weren't very concerned about him. Wendy was the only one they weren't sure of her response to that lesson. So the female dragons started to prepare themselves for "the talk" as they were sure the male dragons wouldn't give a damn about that particular lesson.

After a while the day had come to an end and the dragons were ready to leave. Grandeeney, Metalicana, Weisslogia, Geldrisa, and Lykyria called out to the children.

"Alright hatchling it's time to leave."

"Oi, brat let's go!"

"Blonde runt, we are leaving now."

"Come along Rogue, we've got to get back to the den."

"Natsu, we're going home."

Time Skip

Igneel and Lykyria were waiting for Natsu to finish his daily exercises before moving on to his magic training. Natsu had just recently turned fourteen, and the two dragons found themselves wondering where the time went. Zeref had revived Natsu when the pink haired child was three, and they had been raising him ever since.

Thankfully he was a smart child, it made teaching him so much easier for the two. It also made it easier for Igneel to explain part of the plan the dragons had come up with to Natsu. He hadn't yet told the boy how the dragons were going to disappear and that it would be impossible to find them until they were ready to reveal themselves. But Igneel did make sure that Natsu knew about his brother and the possibility the man would be insane when they finally got a proper chance to speak.

He made sure that Natsu knew he and the other dragon slayers were part of the back up plan for dealing with Acnologia if Zeref was unable to. Natsu to his credit had listened to the whole story, and questioned very little as he understood Igneel was telling him so he'd be the one to lead the other slayers into that battle if it ever came to be. He knew that the others were told about what they may have to do in the future if Zeref was incapable of taking Acnologia down, but they didn't know the rest of the plan like he did.

While Igneel mused on how mature Natsu was when he explained the story to the boy, his pink haired protegee had finished his physical training.

"Good job Natsu. You've managed to get through this work out even faster this time."

"Yeah, I'm still aiming to be able to do this entire routine in an hour though mom."

Natsu responded grumpily as he still hadn't yet reached his goal. Lykyria just shook her head as she mummbled something about 'male pride'.

"Cheeky brat, you know even most human adults couldn't even do half of your physical training in three hours let alone the entire thing in an hour and a half like you just did."

Igneel spoke up, a warning tone to his voice at Natsu's grumpiness. It slightly backfired and instead Natsu teasingly gave him a subtly snarky response.

"Someone sounds grouchy today… Did mom ignore you last night or something?"

"Natsu!"

Lykyria shouted, a little bit embarrassed at what went through her mind when Natsu answered Igneel's words.

"Hehehe, he's fine Lykyria."

Igneel told his mate, having noticed by the twinkle in Natsu's eyes that the pink haired brat was only playing around. Calming herself Lykyria continued.

"Anyways… Weren't we going to see test his Dragon magic Igneel?"

"Ah, that's right. Natsu, show us the basic moves. Start with your Fire Dragon Slayer spells."

Natsu nodded to the crimson scaled dragon before turning his back towards the two adoptive parents of his. Taking a deep breath he raised his hands in front of his mouth like a funnel as he shouted "Fire Dragons Roar". A huge blast of flames burst forth from his mouth in a wide cone shape, knowing he had more to show off he aimed into the air so as not to destroy his training targets. Fluidly moving his hands away from his mouth as he cut the roar off, he leapt forward with his arms trailing his body, swiping them forward towards a large boulder with a cry of "Fire Dragons Wing Attack". The flames that coated his arms as he moved lashed out with blazing hot tendrils as his arms crossed in front of him slicing through the rock as if it were butter.

Leaning to his right as he landed Natsu performed a back flip, his leg being covered in bright orange flames as he moved. Using his highly honed skill he angled his body so that he was bringing his heel down on another of the boulders that had been placed for him to use as targets. This attack was his Fire Dragons Talon. This time the piece of stone shattered from the force of the attack, the smaller fragments being burned to ash in an instant. Deciding to follow this up with a similarly destructive attack Natsu turned to the closest slab of rock and lashed out with a flame coated fist. The Fire Dragons Iron Fist obliterating the stone the same way his previous attack had.

Taking a moment, Natsu encased his whole body in flames as he charged at his next target. The heat from his attack caused the stone to start melting, though when he finally got close enough he lunged forward head first as his forehead slammed into the weakened boulder and forced it to crack and shatter. This attack was dubbed the Fire Dragons Sword Horn. Slowly pulling his head back Natsu took another deep breath before jumping high into the air. Creating two small condensed balls of flame in his hands Natsu brought them together, the flames reacting to create a much larger ball that was then thrown at one more stone. Upon impact the giant ball of flame exploded, the heat from the explosion quickly turned the stone to ash, which was then blown away by the shock wave of the attack. Natsu smiled as his Fire Dragons Brilliant Flame was even stronger than the last time he used it.

For his final basic attack with the Fire element Natsu jumped towards his next target his flames coalescing around his hand for a moment before stretching along the back of his fingers and protruding out another three inches. Slashing the fiery hand in front of him Natsu let out a screamed "Fire Dragons Blazing Claw".

"Excellent job Natsu. Now move on to your Gravity Dragon Slayer attacks."

Igneel told him.

"Right…Gravity Dragons Roar".

Taking a moment after answering Natsu repeated the same actions as his earlier roar, but this time instead of a cone of bright orange flames, a pillar of purple energy raced out of his maw. Angling his head downward Natsu targeted a few trees at the edge of the clearing he used to train. The trees began to fold themselves downward crumpling from the force of gravity being increased on them. Cutting of his attack, Natsu smirked before moving on.

Yelling out "Gravity Dragons Unstable Wing" Natsu swiped his right arm in front of him rather lazily. The horizontal slash send a purple wave towards a one of the larger stones left for him to target. Colliding with the stone in the dead center the bottom of the boulder began to float as gravity was reversed on the bottom half. The top half started folding down over the bottom as the top half had gravity increased on it. The force of gravity acting in opposition to itself crushed the stone until nothing was left.

Picking up his next target Natsu threw it into the air, before chanting "Gravity Dragons Attraction Claw". With that he swiped just his right hand towards the now falling boulder. Small claw marks appeared on the rock as it froze in mid air before flying straight towards him now that he adjusted gravity so that the stone would be pulled towards him. Clenching his left hand into a fist once the stone was close enough he lashed out. Holding back a large portion of his physical strength Natsu unleashed his Gravity Dragons Repulsive Fist. Now that he had hit the boulder gravity changed once more, this time pushing the stone away until it was out of his range at which point it just fell back to the ground, though only Igneel was able to notice it as the tree line prevented Lykyria and Natsu from seeing it.

"Very good my son… Shouldn't you show Igneel the surprise you've been working on?"

Lykyria spoke up, a proud smile on her face.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Natsu, I'm sure. I know it's hard to control but you can do it. Besides we want to see everything you've learned."

The purple scaled dragon responded to his questioning tone.

"Since you asked so nicely mom."

Natsu responded before taking a long deep breath as he focused his magic.

"Fire Dragons Gravitational Roar"

This time Natsu's roar was a funnel, that slowly shrank and condensed on itself. His flames started out as their standard orange, but as his gravity began to affect the flames they turned blue. These blue flames burned hotter than his normal flames and due to the new effect of gravity they couldn't be blown out, or spread.

"I'm actually impressed brat. I didn't know you could use the two elements together like that."

Igneel commented, a very pleased tone to his voice.

"Of course not! He's been working on it in secret so he had a surprise for you the next time you two decided to spar."

Lykyria responded to her mate, rolling her eyes as she did.

"Yeah well right now my roar is the only spell I can do that uses both. It's very hard to control."

Natsu chimed in, wanting them to know he had a long way to go still.

"It's still impressive none the less… But we've gotten off topic. Show off the secret arts if you would."

Igneel mentioned, before drawing them back to Natsu's test.

With that Natsu went back to showing the two everything he had learned. While Natsu knew that they would have to leave someday he wasn't aware that day was almost upon him. This was his last test from the two before it was time for the rest of Zeref's plan to be put into action. Igneel and Lykyria were both proud and extremely satisfied with Natsu's progress. He exceeded their expectations by a large margin, though the two knew that he still had a long way to go before he was a master of his two elements.

As the day came to an end Natsu was happy just to sit down and relax after showing off all of his Dragon Slayer spells. He didn't know why but his senses were telling him to hug and cuddle his two dragon parents, so he enjoyed spending time with them. Eventually he drifted off to sleep cuddling into Lykyria side as Igneel used his mastery over fire to raise the temperature in their cave dwelling.

"Dammit Igneel why is this so hard?"

Lykyria spoke quietly as she didn't want to wake Natsu. Igneel's answer was in an even softer tone showing he was just as cautious about waking the boy.

"We've grown fond of him my dear. But this has to be done. Zeref and his people can't keep Acnologia distracted forever… I'd rather have him hate me for abandoning him so suddenly than have him dead because Acnologia finally started hunting us down again."

"Still… We should leave something for him when he wakes up."

Lykyria stated, not wanting to leave Natsu all alone and empty handed. Igneel agreed with his mate.

"Of course. Even though we'll always be with him, it wouldn't hurt to leave a memento."

The next morning

Natsu woke up in a daze. He felt colder than normal, and he couldn't sense anyone nearby. Shaking his head Natsu tried to wake himself up. As he blinked the sleep out of his eyes Natsu looked around and found himself alone.

"Dad? Mom?"

Silence greeted his call. Knowing something was wrong Natsu ran to the cave entrance calling out into the clearing.

"Dad? Mom? …. Igneel! Lykyria!"

Once again not getting a response. Sighing Natsu returned to the back of the cave, as he did Natsu finally noticed there was a chest up against the cavern wall. Opening it up he found a sealed letter, a new pair of clothes, and a very special necklace. Igneel and Lykyria had clearly worked very carefully on it as despite it's size there was an insane amount of detail, that even with his sharp eyes Natsu needed the light from outside the cave to see.

It was in the shape of a dragon spreading it's wings but very intricate as he could clearly see the scales after taking a closer look. The scales out at the tips of the wings had the same beautiful violet hue as Lykyria's and they rapidly went through a gradient until those closest to the body were the same crimson as Igneel. The rest was made of a shinning silver with a small heart shaped piece of gold in the center of the body. Very carefully etched into the gold were the names Igneel and Lykyria connected by a line. Another line intersected with that one to form a T and at the bottom was the name Natsu. Knowing how much effort went into this gift made Natsu tear up and put the pendant around his neck.

Skipping the note until he had his emotions in check, Natsu immediately changed into the new clothes. Swapping his tattered black pants out he now wore a beige colored par of pants with a side pocket at knee height on the right side. Since Natsu was still shirtless as he tended to sleep without one he pulled on the black sleeveless vest with a pair dragons coiling around each other on the back. One dragon was a deep crimson and the other was a velvety violet, the two colors representing Igneel and Lykyria. The vest was trimmed in silver. There was a pair of black finger-less leather gloves with silver dragons stitched into them on the back of the hand that Natsu slipped on as well. To complete his look Natsu had a pair of black boots.

Finally reaching for the letter Natsu noticed there was a false bottom to the chest. Taking the false bottom out he discovered a few weapons that he assumed were meant to be used when he had no magic, or couldn't use his magic. There were a few throwing knives that he placed inside a special holster that wrapped around his thigh just above his knee, a pistol and holster that was worn at a similar location as the knives, and a sword that Natsu noticed had an empty Lacrima as part of the hilt.

Channeling a bit of his magic into the Lacrima Natsu saw that it would hold a large amount. Cutting the flow of magic into the Lacrima off, he decided to try and fill it in the evenings before going to bed. Luckily the swords sheath had a strap that would double as a belt. Now that he was fully decked out with everything he had found inside the chest Natsu opened the letter.

Natsu,

Lykyria and I both regret having to leave, but it was time. I have told you about Zeref's plan to ensure that you and the other four we dragons adopted got a chance to live your lives. I bring this up to remind you that we did not leave because we wanted to. These past eleven years have been the most fun filled and enjoyable years of our lives. We have come to love you as if you were our own child and would do anything if it meant you were safe. I understand if you are upset or shell shocked at the abruptness of us leaving you but it was time for the next step. As you know his plan involved sending you and the other four children into the future, hopefully long after the clash between Zeref and Acnologia. If that is the case you and the other Dragon Slayers will have to find a way to speak with the Celestial Spirit King about how to find us. But if that monstrosity is still around it will fall to you to gather the others to your side. Together the five of you must unlock your full power in order to stand up to Acnologia in that situation.

Natsu you are the chosen heir to the throne of dragons. If any other dragon is still around in the time you are sent to then mention this fact and they should bow to your whim. Besides everything in this chest the title of king is our last gift to you until the time we met again. I won't say to make usproud my son, because you already have. Raising you was the most joyful time of our life. Remember thatyouwill always be our son and live your life the way you want to.

Love,

Igneel and Lykyria

S.R: I hope you guys found it a bit easier to follow this time around. Anyway have fun and keep on keepin' on.
