A/N: Only what is mine is mine.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh‼" Beckett screamed as she shot up from the bed. She pulled her shirt down, her hand found the scar made by the bullet so many months ago. The feeling and the sight did nothing to calm her down. It just scared her more as she tried to crawl away from the still fived images of her dream. She fall backwards from her bed and she knocked over the lamp in her attempts to get away from her dream. The sound of the lamp hitting the floor was so loud that it reminded her of the bang which a gun makes when it pushes out his bullet.

Tears ran down her cheeks, short breaths was the only thing she could manages. She did not recognizes her surroundings as looked rapidly around herself. She kept hearing the shot, felt the hurt, saw the chaos break out, smelled the scent of grass, tasted the blood in the back of her throat. All her senses told her she was back at that moment, she needed to get away from it. Her body didn't feel quite like herself, she wanted to crawl out of it, away from it. Away from the grass, the loud sounds.

'I love you Kate.'

She heard his voice, it was soft and barely even there but it was enough. Her hand moved separate from the rest of her body. Her hand found her phone and dialed the right number. He picked up at the moment she found a small place in the corner to hide from everything.

"Beckett?" Castle answered sleepily

"Kate, you really can't spend the night without me anymore?" He said at a low voice, when no answer came, he truly became worried.

"Kate!?" He was already out his bed towards his closet.

"Kate, tell me what's wrong." He almost yelled to his phone as he pulled on his shoes and ran out the door.

"Castle I need you." She whispered and it made him stop in his tracks to make sure he really heard it, before her actual words sank in.

"I'm already on my way, stay on the phone." Castle said entering the elevator and pressing the buttons multiple times willing the cabin to go faster.

He found her, tears still falling from her face, quiet sobs racking her body. Her hands resting on the bullet wound. She shrieked away from him when he kicked open her bedroom door and realized what had happened. He stopped in his tracks and lowered himself on his hands and knees before moving towards her again.

"Kate, it's me." He whispered, she looked up with a deer got in headlights look and before Castle could register any of that she flew into him. He hold her for the longest time, whispered reassuring words to her, telling her she wasn't alone, that she was save. Slowly her tears stopped falling, her sobs lessened in intensity and her breathing returned to normal.

She took another deep breath before she slowly pulled back to look him in the eyes. "Please stay?"

"Always."
