"How could you, Shion?"
Although it's great for him that she has betrayed her own friends to join his cause, Kevin didn't expect her to betray him as well. In fact, Perkins offered her a deal; either she gives up her quest to save the universe or else her friends will die. When she said she isn't afraid of death, he comments on her robotic friend, KOS-MOS, and threatens to kill her.
With no choice, Shion accepted the deal.
As a result, she stands besides Perkins while her friends are being restrained by his men. Kevin could not believe what she has chosen.
"That's it, I did what you asked," she told the FBI Special Agent.
"You know, the problem with you, Shion, is that you believe what anyone tells you," Perkins smugly comments on how naive she is. "You think that by joining Kevin, you feel like he saved you. He's just using you, yet you let yourself fall into his hands. You're completely blinded by your selfish desire to be with him once more. You don't think I was going to let any of you live, after everything that happened. I have orders, you know."
Just then, he pulls out a gun from his coat and shoots Kevin in the head, killing him instantly.
"No! Kevin!" Shion cried while trying to run up to him, only to get shot by one of Perkins' men, sending her falling to the ground.
"Shion!" MOMO cried as the rest is shocked on what the FBI Special Agent just did. How can this man be so cruel?
"Your cause is lost," Perkins smirked. "You've betrayed your friends, family, and now your boyfriend? Seems you seriously fucked you, Shion."
Before Shion could do anything, he immediately shoots her in the head, killing her. She died being a fool.
"Clean up this mess," Perkins ordered.
With this, his men shoot KOS-MOS, Jin, MOMO, Ziggy, chaos, Jr. and Allen continuously until they die as well.
Perkins has won. In fact, his mission is complete.
Author's Note: This fanfic took place in Xenosaga Episode III. Imagine the cruelty Perkins can do to Shion and her friends.
