Dr. Uchiha
I hate being sick, really I hate it with a passion. You see team seven just had a mission to the rain country a couple days ago and of course it was raining the whole time we were there ending with me getting sick. The Hokage ordered me to get some rest, which I'm not objecting to. It's just that she told Sasuke to look over me until I get better. The brooding Uchiha came back after defeating his brother and was accepted with open arms. I on the other hand haven't talked to him much since the incident a few years back, leaving him to try to start up conversations, shocking I know but ever since he got back he seems a bit more open and talks more not using the famous Hn all the time.
"You feeling okay?" Sasuke asked coming in with some tomato soup.
"Yeah, I guess." I mumbled back.
"That's good." He said handing me the soup.
That is how a basic conversation goes for us now and I will admit that he is trying, but I'm not. It's not that I don't want to it's just that I don't know why he seems to want anything to do with me since he obviously didn't before he left. I still love him and I don't want to get hurt, is that so wrong?
I looked over to find Sasuke sitting there deep in thought; even Naruto would be able to tell something was wrong with the boy. So, it took me by surprise when he snapped his head up to look at me and asked me if I hated him. It took me a bit to register what he said and I could tell he was a bit nervous though I haven't a clue as to why.
"No, do I seem as if I hate you? I'm sorry if it comes off that way." I replied
"No, it's just you don't seem that happy with me around, you've changed."
"Did, you think I wouldn't after so many years? Gosh, do you expect me to run into your arms and be the weak and annoying girl I used to be! You left me on a bench Sasuke, in the middle of the night!"
I could tell he was surprise by my outburst, but I needed to let off some steam and he was the only person there.
"I'm sorry." He stated, but I didn't hear him because I was still ranting, but I immediately fell silent when I felt pressure on my lips and found him kissing me.
"I really am sorry Sakura and even though you might not believe me I love you."
I looked at him with tears in my eyes asking if he was being serious to which he replied yes.
"I believe you, but if you ever break my heart or leave again I'll break you; you got that?"
"Deal." He said lying down next to me on the bed.
"Good." I said tiredly snuggling up to him which resulted in us both falling asleep. Let's just say when Naruto comes by in the morning to check in on us he'll be in for a shock.
