"Mayu!!" I screamed, the butterfly vanishing into sky, "Mayu please! Don't go! I'm sorry!" I fell to my knees, sobbing, finally burying my face in my hands, "...I'm sorry..."

I stayed there, sobbing in the entrance to the town, sobbing, howling, sniveling, bawling, weeping; crying for Mayu before a new emotion set in.

Rage.

I rose to my feet, and began for the village, "God damn ghosts!!!" I screeched, running into a house, it didn't matter which one, this was all their fault.

I took a table, and threw it into the wall, imaging the wall was a ghost, preferably Sae, "God Dammit!!!" I picked the battered table back up, and began swinging it madly, destroying anything and everything I could.

I ran through the house, then the next, and the next, I could've gone on forever; in the doll room, I began ripping heads off of the dolls, wielding, arms and legs as my weapons, I destroyed almost every doll, fluff, wood, hair, and eyes laying shattered around the floor. I fell to my knees again, holding the lost whole doll close, "...God damn.... it..."

"Yae?" I heard a voice ask, "Yae, you did it, the village is safe now; Sae is safe. So, why are you-"

"Yae is dead." I spat, "Sae is dead. Everyone is fucking dead!!!"

There was a moment of stunned silence, before he came into my sight, the white hair almost covering the confusion in his rich amethyst eyes, "What are you talking about Yae?"

"Yae is dead!!" I screamed, "Sae died! Mayu..." I choked on the word, how cruel of me, able to speak so freely about other people's death, but my sisters.... "Mayu's.... dead..." I hugged the doll close, and began to sob again, "Mayu's dead!!"

I thought he had left, until I felt a cold, but gentle hand touch my shoulder, "...Mayu?"

"My sister..." I took a deep breath, and stood back up, knocking his hand away.

He stared at me, and I was surprised to see hurt in his eyes, ".... But...Yae and Sae...?"

"Died."

"But...how? They escaped!"

I shook my head, he had died before the Malice, he didn't know; I took off the black bag filled with the scraps, notebooks and pictures I'd found and flung it at him, "That's what happened." I stormed past him, slamming the door, and walking down the tattered hallway, the doll still in my arms.

The rage was gone; I just felt numb now, empty inside, like the Hellish Abyss I mused darkly.

I couldn't leave the village now; I would not leave the village. I stumbled, and fell to the ground. How long had we... I...been trapped here? I was hungry, cold, and tired. I curled up on the ground, holding the doll close, and finally found peace as I drifted into the blank landscape of a dreamless slumber.
