Missed Out
"Why is everyone crying?"
"Everyone? Who do you mean, Rouge?"
Rouge and Blaze were walking up and down the hallways of their high school. Rouge saw that a few students were in tears as they walked up and down the hallways. She couldn't help but wonder why.
Finally, Rouge couldn't take not knowing. She was the most popular girl at school and she knew every piece of information out in the world. Everything but what was going on. She saw a light blue hedgehog with tears in her eyes and she was hugging her books to her chest. Rouge as seen her pass by many times but never thought to talk to her. Until now.
"Hey! Hey wait up!" The bat shouted as she raced to corner the light blue female. The hedgehog looked up and tears continued to fall.
"Yes?" the female chocked.
"Why are you…………why is everyone crying?" Rouge asked with her hands on her hips. Blaze was at the bat's side and began to listen.
"One of the nicest persons in the world is………….gone." the light blue hedgehog chocked.
"Who?" Rouge asked not truly understanding. The light blue hedgehog looked at her and scowled. Rouge growled back. She didn't do anything and this female was already angry.
"What's your problem and who are you anyway?" Blaze asked a bit upset now that her bat friend was scowled at.
"I'm called D around here. The reason I'm mad is because the one who passed away was the sweetest person around. And people like you never noticed." D said while shaking her head. The two popular girls raised an eyebrow. They still didn't understand what was going on.
D growled and stalked off to head to class before she was late. Rouge saw a male hedgehog looking mad and she raced to see if he had anything about this person whom she apparently never had met.
"Hey you! What's going on?" she called. He turned to her and she saw that it was Sonic.
"Hey Rouge. "The blue fuzz ball teared.
"Why are you crying?" Blaze asked now just as anxious as Rouge.
"One of my buds passed away, Rouge." Sonic frowned.
"Who? Which one?" Blaze asked. Sonic looked up at them and shuck his head. He put a hand up and walked off. Rouge began to get more and more annoyed. She heard the bell ring and everyone raced to class. She went to Spanish and saw two other people with tears falling. It was Cream the rabbit and Amy Rose. Who died? Rouge asked herself. She wanted to know so badly that the minute class was over she flew off to search for answers.
The whole day went by and she could not find out who had died. All she found out was a list of who they were about.

Hardly had a bad thing to say about someone.
Nice mind.
Not all that smart but with brains none the less
Not the best looking one around but had a good heart.
Was helpful and willing to listen.
But the main thing that bothered Rouge the most was that this person was someone she never met over even noticed. Yet they were all these things but she still didn't know who it was.
"I missed out on a friend." She frowned. Tears fell as she saw that she lost someone too.
