Seeing stars has become a common occurrence on the ship, almost a casual thing, not often thought about how they were the same stars that any being could see from their planet. Keith should have been tired of seeing these balls that glowed so brightly, but when he viewed them with Matt, it was like seeing them for the first time. Matt was able to make him see the differences, the hidden abnormalities with his geeky talk. Though, it would seem that their geek talk has faded into a reasonable silence, except for what they were gazing at; each other.
"You know Keith", Matt started, breaking the silence, "You're eyes are beautiful, I wonder what a little you would look like with them." Keith flushed immediately, though a fond smile grew on his features. A bit ago, it was discovered that his half galra side allowed him to be able to reproduce, which lit something up in his beloved mechanic.
"Yeah… That's a good thing to ponder for after the war" Keith agreed softly, his smile almost matching Matt's, which was so wonderful and pure in Keith's eyes. He shuffled closer, nuzzling into Matt's neck as his love moved to hold him.
Sure, the stars were beautiful and mysterious in their own unique way, but they would never be as beautiful to Keith as Matt was. As the peaceful environment went on, the silence broken a few more times, by quiet giggles and I love you's.
