Prologue
It was as if I was watching Bay Watch again, as the girls ran on the beach in slow motion. Oh the horror.
Slowly, he picked up the pink piece of paper containing all my deepest, darkest secrets of my love. Like Pandora when she unleashed the box of evils to the world, the contents of my love letter was revealed to Toshiro, my childhood friend.
He looked up at me with his smirking visage and his mocking sea, blue eyes.
"Karin, you… like Ryu?"
Why him, out of all of the people in this school that could've have found out about my secret crush? Why did it have to be Toshiro Hitsugaya.
Like every morning, the hallways would fill with the sound of death defying screams of fan girls as Toshiro came by.
He would cockily walk into the classroom and then to his seat to talk to his friends.
But, this morning was different; he walked towards me, with an oh-so-fake innocent smile. The memory from the incident yesterday replayed in my mind repeatedly.
"Good morning, Karin Chan~" His voice dripped of sickly sweetness.
"Oh look" He brought his mouth to my ear, and whispered. "Its Ryu kun"
Damn him.
