-PREFACE-

"WHY, ARIELLE?"He shouted. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STAY?"I shook my head, a tear rolling down my face.

"Seth, I-I can't, I told you from the beginning that I couldn't stay, you've known that." I said, looking down, trying to contain myself from crying anymore.

"BUT, WHY?" He said, turning around, looking at me. "CAN'T YOU JUST STAY HERE AND NOT GO HALF-WAY ACROSS THE WORLD TO SOME STUPID SCHOOL?" I lost it.

"YOU KNOW WHAT SETH, IT ISN'T SOME STUPID SCHOOL, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW IMPORTANT THAT PLACE IS TO ME," I said, I started crying more. "IT'S THE ONLY PLACE WHERE I FEEL AT HOME, AND THE FACT THAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT IS A HORRIBLE THING."I started to walk away. "Didn't you tell me that being imprinted on is that you would do anything to make me happy, I guess not, huh?" I sai before running away blind with my own tears.

I could hear the loud thuds of his feet against the forest floor and his constant yells.

"Arielle, I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that!" and "Arielle, Please!" Were the last things I heard before running back into my house, broken hearted and alone.

I'm Arielle Louis, and this is the story of how I tried, and failed to forget about the boy who loved be, no matter what.
