The Doctor's Demons

The newly regenerated Doctor lands somewhere in the 1700's where a mysterious criminal is using the nightmares of children to kidnap and kill them. His companion Clara helps him search through the city to capture the criminal, while also trying to come with this new man. My own take on how the first episode "Deep Breath" should go. I do not own Doctor Who or any characters from it.

The Doctor ran around the TARDIS console pressing things. How could Clara get mad for him not remembering how to fly the TARDIS? He had just regenerated after all. "So your starting to remember how to fly this thing?" she asked him. "If I said no would you be anymore scared?" he asked her still pulling levers. She just stared at him with a frantic face. "I'll take that as a no." he replied. The Doctor was pulling levers faster than ever now. He had no idea what he was going to do next. Suddenly he thought of an idea. "Clara you might want to grab on to something." The Doctor said smiling. Clara looked at him and realized that this doctor was not the same as the ones she met before. Suddenly the Doctor yelled something just as he grabbed a lever and flipped it. All at once the TARDIS stopped and all the lights went off and shut down.

"Doctor, what just happened?" Clara asked trying to catch her breath. "when all things go bad, pull the parking break!" The Doctor screamed. "How do you pull a parking break in the time vortex?" she asked. "Don't know don't care. Now, where have we landed? I do believe its Earth. Ahhhhh I love Earth!" said the Doctor as he began to walk out the door of the TARDIS. Clara just stood there. She was unsure if this was the same man as before. "Come on Clara! We have exploring to do!" He yelled to Clara before shutting the doors completely.
