Tears

HunnyxMori

Disclaimer: *sigh* I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. If I did, everyone wouldn't have fallen in love with Haruhi. She's not that great.

Warning: Nothing really. Not this time, sorry.

A/N: Hey, here I am again. Another HunnyxMori story. I can't help it, they're really cute. You can take this as friendship or slash. I wrote this a while back, so there's probably some grammar mistakes. Then again, isn't there in all my stories, really? Anyway, enjoy:

"I'm strong on the surface, not all the way through" Leave out all the rest, Linkin Park

It was late in Hunny's opinion. The bunny clock on the bedside table showed 10 pm. Hunny couldn't sleep. He wasn't tired, and he was sick of laying down and staring into air. It was too boring. So he decided to visit Takashi.

He slipped down to the floor. It was cold. Hunny shivered a bit, then walked over to the door that led into Takashi's room. The door was always open, so Takashi could hear Hunny if he was having a nightmare. Hunny went to stand in the door frame, and looked into the other dark room.

Takashi was on the windowsill. He stared into the night. The moon was lighting up his face, and Hunny could see something rolling down his face. Was it...tears? No, it couldn't be. Takashi never cried. He was the strong one. He was supposed to be the one who never breaks.

Hunny watched Mori. He just sat there, looking out of the window. His tears kept rolling, but they were the only thing that revealed that he was sad. Mori had his knees against his chest and one arm around them. He now moved the other, and lay his hand on the glass. He ran a hand trough his hair and buried his face in that hand.

An hour passed by, when Mori started to move. Hunny had watched him all that time. Mori stood up, and brushed the tears away with his arm. His face fell back in the normal unreadable facial expression. He walked over towards Hunny, and Hunny hurried back to his bed. He lay down and closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep.

He could hear Takashi moving closer and felt a hand pulling the covers further up over his shoulders. The hand also stroked his hair, before Mori walked back into his room.

This hadn't helped Hunny to sleep at all. He was worried. He didn't sleep the whole night, and in the morning, he had little bags underneath his eyes. Takashi didn't say anything, he just made sure that he got a longer nap later. They also left the host club earlier than usual.

Some nights after, Hunny couldn't sleep again. He walked into Mori's room, and saw the raven haired crying again. He walked over to him. He could see the confusion, mixed with embarrassment and worry. Hunny didn't say anything. He just lay the others head in his lap, and stroked his hair.

Mori was tense, he didn't like it, Hunny could tell. But after a while he relaxed and let his tears fall. Hunny kept stroking his hair, calming the other. He slept with Takashi that night. And the night afterwards. And the night after that.

You don't have to be strong all the time. Nobody can be that. Everybody cries.
