It was about 8 o'clock, and Rachel got out of her car, walked through the huge entrance of the firm and reached her office. It was a peaceful day, everyone seemed relaxed, calm, no worries on their minds.
Or maybe it was just her.
She kept reflecting about that for a moment, looking outside her glass door, but then she remembered that Louis asked her to check - and, just to be sure, or maybe just to make her work harder, double check - an old deposition, so she got back to her job.

A few hours later, she was going to Jessica's office with a huge pile of documents in her hands, when she bumped into someone. She didn't need to look at him to know who he was.
-Oh, I'm sorry mr. Ross - she said in a fake innocent voice, stopping and turning a little, but keeping her eyes on the files.
-No, it was my fault- he replied with a small smile. She wasn't paying attention, so he pointed at the papers - going to the copy room?-
-Why, you need instructions on how to use the copying machine?- she faced him.
-No, but...you never know what could happen- he wispered, and then he went back on his way to harvey's office, not before blinking at her.

He was a kid and there was nothing she could do about it.

They were sitting on their new couch, her head resting on his chest, his arm around her back and hip.
-This movie sucks- she broke the silence between them.
-I know, but we don't have a big choice. God, I can't believe that there are only telesales and old shit movies-
-Maybe it's bacause it's 3 a.m.. People usually sleep at this time, or, like us, they watch old shit movies-
It was friday, there was no work the day after, and the liked to spend nights like that, just the two of them, in front of the tv.
-But, seriously, the copy room? 'you never know what could happen'?- she fooled him, raising her head.
-What? What's wrong with the copy room?- he replied, sounding like a little kid who's being blamed -I was just trying to have a normal conversation in the hallway-
-And by 'normal conversation' you mean flirting with me whenever you have the chance?-
-You are my only weakness, and you know it- he used the sweet tone, that tone that made her melt everytime. Now they were sitting on the couch, facing each other.
-You are such a kid- she began, giving him a short kiss -and you're never gonna change- another kiss -but I'm fine with that, and i don't know why- this time he put a hand behind her neck, making the kiss last a little longer.
-Maybe it's because of my charm, my muscles and my superpowers-
She laughed -Yeah, definitely the superpowers. Also because of your crazy hair when you wake up and...-
-Or maybe just because I love you- he interrupted her, looking her in the eyes.
She held her breath for a moment, smiled and than kissed him with all the love she felt.
-Maybe- she wispered.
