My life at Forks High is over. I'm leaving behind all my friends and god I will miss them all so much. Jessica and Mike are going to Dartmouth College while Angela and Ben will be attending New York University. I, on the other hand, have been accepted at Princeton. I am excited as ever to be attending one of the top schools in the US, but I will not be able to help missing my family and friends.

My mom, Renee and dad, Charlie are still living in Forks; in the same house I have lived in all my life. They own a small, 2 bedroom house on the edge of one of Forks' many forests. Charlie is the Chief of police, has been for as long as I can remember. But we don't get many crimes in Forks, just the occasional theft or robbery that needs to be dealt with. Renee, however, is a stay at home mum. Now that I'm gone though, she's been thinking of starting her own business as a beauty therapist. I think that would be good for her, she always tried to play Barbie Bella with me but I was never one for all that kind off stuff. As a child I would rather explore the forest, playing make-believe with my best friend in the whole world, Jacob Black.

I have known Jacob since I was 5 years old. He is 2 years younger than I am, but I have never minded it. Jacob was the kind of person anyone could get along with, to me, he was like a brother. He lived with his father, Billy and 2 older sisters, Rachel and Rebecca in La Push, only 12 miles from Forks. We would see each other nearly everyday before I started school, after that we would have sleepovers at each others house's for the whole weekend, nearly every weekend. Jake is so easy to talk with about anything, he is smart, caring and overprotective, the way all brothers should be. Life without Jake was going to be hard. He could always make me smile, no matter what was wrong and always knew what to say to make me feel better. I would miss him more than anyone.

But here I am, at the gates of Princeton University, about to begin the biggest journey of my life.
