"Are you sure you'll be okay, Hugh?" Rosa asked the Black-haired boy who was currently standing outside the door to the men's room, clutching his stomach.

"Yeah, I-I'll be fine, a little food poisoning's never killed anyone," Hugh muttered while holding down a barf. "Go have some fun, I'll be okay."

Rosa gave him a concerned look. "Okay, but once you feel better I'll be in the battle room, so come and find me."

Hugh have a small smile and a thanks before running into the bathroom.

Rosa sighed and entered the battle room, opening the large wood doors before her. She told Hugh not to eat those suspicious looking berries, but he ignored her and ate at least 15 of them. Turns out the berries and the roots of the plant were a key ingredient in ipecac, one of the locals told her.

Rosa walked over to the Receptionist, and decided to accept the multibattle challenge like she had planned even though Hugh wouldn't be her partner. She figured her Serperior and Simipour could do well on their own anyway if the person she paired was with didn't have good pokemon or battling skills. She was sort of tired of already, but she figured she wouldn't let the jet lag get to her.

"Who would you like as your partner, miss?" The receptionist asked kindly.

"Whoever's at the top of the list," Rosa said with a wave of her hand, not even taking care to look at the list she was shown.

The Receptionist raised an eyebrow, but input the request.

"Your partner should be here any second," The receptionist motioned to the door.

Rosa faced the main entrance doors, and straightened her visor and skirt. They can't be too bad, after all they made it here, right?

The person who walked through the doors was definitely not bad at pokemon battling from her experience.

The "boss" of Team Plasma, or at least formerly, opened the large wooden doors. Rosa could recognize that hair from a mile away.

What the fuck is that asshole doing here? That flamboyant, science-obsessed, attractiv- nonono. He's pulling me back in. That good-for-nothing asshat with the idiotic strand of blue hair. Don't let history repeat itself, don't let his looks make you infatuated with him again. Rosa started sweating even more than she had been before, which was quite a lot as it was.

Admittedly, Rosa was captivated by how good-looking Colress was when she first met him in the sewers. She could almost never look him in the eye each time they bumped into each other. She was disappointed when she found out he was a part of team plasma. She hadn't seen him for almost 2 years now, excluding that time she saw him once in a coffee shop. She Immediately decided to take the long way to where she was going when that happened.

He looked almost the exact same, except he was wearing a black dress shirt with a skinny blue tie. In fact, he was almost even better looking with the change of clothes.

Rosa could feel cold feet coming on.

When Colress looked up and saw Rosa, he looked shocked for a second, but smiled widely after. Rosa could feel her feelings for Colress rise back up from the corner of the mind she had shoved them into. She was starting to feel nauseous.

"Rosa! It's been so long! How are you?" Rosa felt lightheaded. She tried to make out words, but nothing came to her lips. The world went black around her.

"Miss?!"

"Rosa!"
