I like Ramen

"Hehe, this is good. This is really good. They wont be expecting this again." Naruto sniggered to himself, admiring his work. Borrowing teeth whitening paint from Gai sensei, Naruto had just created another "masterpiece" out of the Hokage monument. "I just hope it doesn't wash off in the rain."

"You there! Stop!" an ANBU shouted at him. Naruto jumped and tried to make his way down the mountain. As he went, he used the multiplicity jutsu and soon the monument was covered in a blanket of Narutos. The ANBU found it impossible to find the real one.

Naruto ducked into an alley as the swarm made it's way into Konoha. The ANBU carried on following his clones; oblivious that the one he wanted had just slipped away.

Naruto sniggered as all the clones ran into the ramen shops on the high street. Suddenly a shadow passed over him and he shuddered. He quickly turned around. Sasuke, that pretty-boy, was standing behind him. They stared at each other as the air turned frostier.

In the middle of this, the ANBU poked his head around the opening of the alley. Naruto quickly jumped behind Sasuke.

"You there! Have you seen that trouble-maker, Naruto?" he asked sternly. Sasuke inclined his head slightly. Naruto thought he was going to betray him.

"No, sir. I haven't seen him all day," Sasuke said unemotionally. The ANBU glared at him for a moment. Sasuke glared back harder. Sighing, the ANBU left to check elsewhere. Naruto gingerly watched him disappear down the street.

"Why didja do that?" Naruto asked his aloof teammate incredulously.

"I don't know," Sasuke smiled, which was a big deal for him, and shrugged. "Do you want to get a bowl of ramen?" Naruto's eyes lit up.

"Sure! I love ramen!"

So Naruto and Sasuke walked off down the street to the nearest ramen shop, walking at the pace of a snail, laughing and joking with each other.
