Shelby sat cold on the examine table. She wasn't exactly sure what had happened other than Scott had carried her to this table and left. the rest was all a blure. She woke up right before Nurse Holmes left to talk to Peter and Scott. She wasn't even sure what about. She was just left here alone and cold and hungary. She felt wierd. She didn't know how to describe it, but in her 20 years of life she was sure she hadn't felt this before. It was just icky..
Daisy stepted into the room. She had just heard the news from Scott. It wasn't the greatest, but certainly not the worst.
Diasy: hey you.
Shelby smiled. She was just happy one of her best friends were they for her when she was alone.
Shelby: What's wrong with me?
Daisy: Scott will have to tell you that one. In the mean time Max is on her way. We called her as soon as she arrived at the airport.
Shelby: Good I need it.
Daisy: Yeah us tortured souls need all the help we can get. dryly
Scott walked in with his hand going through his curly hair. He wasn't sure how to tell Shelby this.
Scott: Shel?
Shelby: It's bad isn't it.
Scott: Well that depends..

Maxi and David stepped off the plane hand in hand. Maxi was still having doubts, but she was sure that she and David were meant to be together. She didn't want it anyother way, but what about Sharon...
David: Max I think we need to get a rental car.
Maxi nodded, and put on her fake smile.
David: Maxine what the heck is wrong?
Maxi smiled and chuckled at his rising eyebrow. He was soo much like Peter. She knew he wouldn't like this idea since he thought he was "different", and took pride in that.
David: What!??
Maxi: You forehead wrinkles together like Peter's.
David touched his forehead and groaned.
Maxi: It's cute. she said as she slowly grinned.
David: Yeah, but it's not as cute as you when you stick your tongue out and wrinkle your nose.
Maxi stuck her tongue out at him and then pulled it back in.
David laughed and took her hand and walked her to the car rental place.

Juliette had been waiting in the lodge to hear about Shelby. She was genuinly worried. Her and Shelby had a small friendship and she didn't want anything more to happen to Shelby that could threaten her bliss.
Auggie came behind Juliette and put his hands over her eyes.
Auggie: Guess who?
Juliette: My secret lover Paul.
Auggie: What?!?
Juliette: You mean it's not you Paul.
Auggie knew she was kidding, but he was still a little annoyed at the thought.
Juliette: ohh good it's my real love Auggie, because Paul I'm not in love with you.
Auggie walked around her and pulled her out of the chair and into his warm embrace.
Auggie: I love you twig.
Juliette: that's good, because I have already bought the dress. she said with a smile and buried her head into his neck.
Auggie: Ohh well in that case.
Juliette giggled and pulled her head back to see his face. She smiled at him and wondered when she was ever going to feel like she wasn't floating.
Auggie grinned back at her and fingered her hair. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever laid eyes on.
Juliette: I hope Shelby is okay.
Auggie: She will be, Scott's there with her and Daisy right now.
Juliette: How do you know? She said as she lightly crinkled her nose
Auggie: I have great powers.
Juliette looked at him and nodded.
Auggie: I asked Sophie.
Juliette: I'm glad Scott's in there.
Auggie: Yeah and that you're here with me.
Juliette: I love you.
Auggie: That's good since I already bought the ring.
Juliette smirked at him and then kissed him lightly on the cheek.

Ezra stood outside the waiting room with Peter. There was an odd silence as if everything that had been said just sat there in between the space between the two chairs.
Peter: I guess we didn't fully explain pre-mariatal sex.
Ezra smirked: You did, it's just you also taught us to have a mind of our own.
Peter grinned despite himself.
Peter: I'm glad I taught that well.
Ezra: Peter you're practically my father. I mean nobody has acted more of a father than you. You loved me despite all my short comings and taught me not to blame myself for what my parents and bioligical parents did to me. So, I can honestly say that without you I would be dead or living in a ditch with drugs and no life.
Peter: I just wished you would have waited.
Ezra: Too late for that, but I wouldn't change that cause I wanna be a dad and I wanna marry Daisy. I wanna be the kind of father you were to me and everyone else.
Peter sat in awe as the boy he used to call the one who would need a father who cared became a man getting ready to be one himself. He didn't know how to describe what he felt for those Cliffhangers.

Daisy, Shelby, and Scott had sat in silence. Daisy thought this was all way too funny. Not in a haha sense, but just the idea of it all was well wierd. She knew it would happen. It was expected by everybody, but the couple. It's like they hadn't even thought about the idea.
Scott: Shelby, I'm just gonna say this quick.
Shelby nodded and hoped for the best.
Scott: You're pregnant. I'm mean we're not totally sure, but it seems that way. I thought you were on the pill.
Shelby gulped: I guess I should have told you I missed my period.
scott: Yeah that might have worked a little. I mean other than that we needed to tell eachother. I'm not ready to be a dad. I'm 20 not 30. I'm still a kid.
Daisy: Well, I'll be leaving now.
Shelby: Leave and you will be sorry later when I don't tell you the details, and trust me ,knowing you, you will be dying to know them.
Daisy: uh-huh. Mood swings sure are coming early for you. dry
Shelby just rolled her eyes and returned to the conversation.
Shelby: So, your not totally sure right?
Scott: Right. Look Shel, I love you, but I'm not ready to be a dad to some kid. I want kids, just not now.
Shelby: Scott, I'm not even sure if I want any kids, because one day there will be something I can't give it. I have a hole and no matter how hard I try to fill that hole I can't and I think I need that something to be a good mom. I don't want to be the kind of mother mine was to Jess and me.
Daisy: Shelby, do you really hear yourself. You would be a good mother and if not better than me, you'd be better than your mom. You know how to give and that's what makes you you. You gave me back parts of myself I had lost somewhere. I think you'd be great at giving those parts to a kid. Scott, you might not be ready to be a dad, but if there is a baby it really doesn't take into consideration wheter you're ready or not. It's comming and you both are going to be great parents wheter you acknolege that or not.
Shelby: Wow, you got a little emotional on us there.
Daisy: Guess, motherhood kicked in a little early.
Scott: Or your taret cards are still working.
Daisy smiled and remember her first gift from Ezra. Now he had given her the one thing she thought she hadn't wanted, but now couldn't see her living with out.A baby and a chance to be a better parent than her parents had been and to be more than just a parent, but more like the kind of person Sophie was to her. A mentor.
Shelby: *teasingly* So you got any names mama?
Daisy: Yeah I think I do. Lily Grace.
Scott: I'm sure Ezra will love it.
Shelby: Yeah. So dad what do you think of this?
Scott smiled and remembered Shelby from thier wedding.
Scott: I think Peter is gonna kill us, but then he'll realize that we're gonna be as good as he was to us.
Shelby: Well cowboy let's go tell the guy.
Scott: Do you need any help getting off?
Shelby: Scott, I'm 2 monthes not 9.dryly
Scott: Ohh I forget.
Daisy: Uh-huh. sarcastic

Maxi and David pulled up to thier safe haven and got out of the car. Juliette had seen them pulling up and squealed and ran as fast as she could pulling Auggie with her.
Juliette: Ohh Max, I missed you.
Maxi pulled her in for a hug and whispered softly in her ear.
Maxi: So the big day's a commin?
Juliette: Yeah and I can't hardly wait.
Maxi: Hey handsome.
Auggie: Hey Max. We missed you.
maxi: I missed you too. So where's the other little delinquets?
Auggie: Shelby is in the infirmary.
Maxi: What?!?!
Juliette: Daisy's pregnant and her and Ezra are getting married. When they were telling Peter Shelby collapsed and was sent to the nurse.
Maxi: But she thinks everything's fine right?
David could sense the amount of panick in her voice.
David: Max, let's go see her okay?
Maxi nodded and walked with David to the infirmary feeling a little scared. She didn't want anythng to happen to her best friend. It hadn't even dawned on her about Daisy yet.

Maxi knocked on the door. She didn't know what was going on in there, but she could smell the steralizers and the needles. She wasn't the strongest stomached person. She had been the girl to puke when she heard about the "birds and the bees".
Shelby: Come in.
Maxi walked in holding David's hand for support.
Shelby: Well, look it's the brat.
Maxi: If it's not the scum bucket.
Shelby: Come here. I missed you.
Maxi felt better knowing her friend was all right. She didn't know all the details. She wasn't sure she wanted to, but she was okay for now.
Maxi walked over and hugged Shelby.
Maxi: Don't scare me like that.
Shelby: You sound like what my mother should have been.
Maxi: Yeah well someone's gotta take her place.
Scott: Hey Max. David.
David: Hey Scott, Shelby, Daisy.
Scott: Are ya'll ya know?
Daisy: I knew that you would forgive eachother. You're just too predictable.
Maxi: Thanks Dais,I heard you're gonna be a mother.
Daisy: Yeah soon. Peter didn't exactly take it as well as we wanted him to. But that's Peter for ya.
Maxi smiled.: Whatcha namin it?
Shelby: Lily Grace. I think it's cute.
Maxi: You know what would be really cute. If you had a boy, that is if you were pregnant, and Daisy had her girl. And they dated and got married.
Shelby: How did you know I'm pregnant?
Maxi: Let's see here. You're married to the guy ,who was at one time obsessed with sex, and you're young and pretty. It doesn't take too many brain cells to figure this out. Plus I was checking your calender when you came over last month.
Scott: And you didn't tell me?
Maxi: No that should have been her choice.
David: So Scott now that you're gonna be a daddy, what are you gonna do about football?
Scott: We just found out today. I mean it's not like we really have everything figured out yet.
Shelby: But we're not even sure yet.
Maxi: Uh-huh
Shelby: Yeah auh-huh.
Maxi: You don't want to be a mother do you?
It wasn't a question it wasn't even a demand it was a statement. And Shelby wasn't sure if she could deny it.
