A/N: This was a random idea that sprang into my mind today. It was inspired by Rage Point's "No-Shippers' Anthem" (which, by the way, is rather good).
I'm not sure how well this turned out, but I hope it conveys something of the idea I was trying to get across.
If ships have been officially mentioned
And by the original author been sanctioned,
Then I agree with them all the way,
And firmly support them every day.
If anyone tries to say different things,
I generally respond with the following:
I'm behind Harry/Ginny one hundred percent
If you write them as Joanne Rowling meant.
Ron and Hermione fight a lot,
But that's what gives them such a great plot.
Bill and Fleur are rather sweet.
It's a pity we don't get more to read.
Audrey Weasley we don't really know.
I still ship her with Percy, though.
I prefer Angelina with George, not Fred.
The story works better if her husband's not dead.
Neville and Hannah are meant to be.
That's what JKR said, you see.
Cho and Cedric? Kind of sad,
But anything else would make me mad.
Draco/Pansy is not okay.
I ship Astoria all the way.
I ship some fanon, if it's not
Contrary to the original plot.
For example,with Teddy/Victoire
A little imagination will take you far.
I always love reading Scorpius/Rose.
But Scorpius/Lily and I are foes.
Seamus and Lavendar are quite a couple.
And with Seamus/anyone else I have trouble.
Dean and Parvati-now there's a thought.
I actually like them quite a lot.
Another one I've found is Lorcan/Lily.
I like it now, though I used to think it silly.
Oliver/Katie is popular quite.
I usually find it to be alright.
As aforementioned, I always read canon.
And I often also enjoy reading fanon.
But AU couples? Well, if Ms. Jo
Wrote them otherwise, then I say no.
