Disclaimer: Sorry, don't own ABC so there's no decent programming like there should be or Bunheads. If I owned both, the show would be on and the garbage would be off.
A.N. Just an idea I came up with when I was sick a few days ago. I could definitely rule this out. Anywhoo, onto the story
One Day Before Nutcracker…
"Michelle, are you all right in there? You're supposed to be supervising the dress rehearsal." Fanny knocked on the bathroom door.
"I can't get away from the toilet. Here comes another wave!"Michelle knelt over the toilet and spilled her guts once again.
"I'm coming in!" Fanny called and opened the door."You're not pregnant, are you?"
"Hello, I had my period the day of the memorial and three times since/ Do you really think that's a plausible explanation?" She started to dry heave.
"Get up; we're going."
"Going where? The last time you said that someone died because of it."
"The hospital, you're dehydrated."
"I am not!" She promptly threw up again."
"Have you been able to keep anything down? Like water?"
"No, but…"
"You can't seem to keep anything down; we're going!"
"What about the rehearsal?" Michelle asked weakly.
"Truly can watch; she's done it before." Fanny dragged Michelle out of the bathroom, dumped her in the front passenger seat, and provided her with a plastic container.
"It's probably a 24 hour bug. I used to get them every other year at ABT. "
Fanny drove in silence and ushered her into the waiting area. Michelle passed out on the chair.
"What can I do for you, Fanny?" The receptionist asked.
"It's Michelle."
Michelle found herself in a nursery, surrounded by a ton of baby toys. Hubbell walked in. "Hey, haven't seen you in a while. Wait…Why are we here?"
"Just relax," he held her close, " we apparently have wonderful news."
"News? What news? Seriously, this is just another 12-24 hour bug. I mean…. I had my period the day after the party. We can't be… Can we?"
"I'm guessing from where we are, it's very obvious."
"I…..I can't do this without you. Please don't go this time. I need you; we need you if that's the case…"
Michelle awoke sobbing. "Where's Hubbell? Bring him back!"Michelle looked at her arm; "Oh, great IVS."
"Well, good morning to you too." Fanny answered.
"How did I get here?"
"You kept throwing up and got dehydrated.
"Oh, good, you're awake." The doctor walked in. "We have the rest results. Congratulations!"
"What?"
"You're four months along." No wonder I was talking to Hubbell about this! Michelle thought. But….
"But I had my period! Oh, great, this is starting to sound like an episode of I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. I can see the episode right now, Baby at the Ballet! That or some twisted episode of House. What am I going to do?"
"I don't know," Fanny said, wrapping Michelle in a hug and giving her a peck on the cheek, "but we'll figure it out."
