Renesme asked, still giving me the same worried look. "I'm fine now, thank you" Renesme looked at Edward and he sighed, rolling his topaz eyes at his daughter "Don't let him lick you" he teased. "Going to Jacobs I'm guessing" but by the time I finished my sentence Renesme was already out of the door and driving off in her Cobalt blue 67 Shelby Cobra Mustang.
"I hope she showers as soon as she gets home, I don't feel like the house smelling like dog tonight." I laughed at myself; I used to think Jacob smelled wonderful, now he just smells like a dog, in turn making my daughter smell like a dog too just by going over to his house. Edward must have caught on to my little joke, because he now laughed with me. "Now you understand how bad you always… well there is no better word for it, but you stank my love." I looked at Edward now "I thought my blood smelled good enough, that it covered up the dog smell." I answered in a mock pout. He pulled me onto his lap on the couch; I snuggled into his neck and whispered into his ear. This action made me smile; I kissed his neck, stood up, and ran out of the door. I pushed my shield away from me catch me if you can. I was running now, even though it was dark I knew exactly where I was going, I was going to our meadow. I could hear his footsteps behind me, he was laughing now as he ran past me. I was milliseconds behind him when we stepped foot into our perfect little meadow.
