Summary: A one hundred word drabble in Dojo's point of view, about how he misses his friend. (Meant to take place relatively early in the series.)
Disclaimer: I do not own Xiaolin Showdown
I miss Dashi. My best friend. Stupid humans and their freakishly short life spans. The newest group of dragons? They're fine. I've known Omi since he was tiny. (tinier) Clay's nice, Kimiko's clever, Raimundo's funny.
But it's not the same. Dashi would talk to me, we'd have actual conversations. Well, mostly arguments. But it was something. Now it's, 'this Wu does this and it's here', or, 'according to Showdown rules...' I call Omi my best friend, but I don't have a traditional, strong friendship with any of these kids.
I know Dashi's gone, but it's hard to let go.
I love Dojo, (He's actually the reason I started watching the show.) and Days Past got me thinking about his friendship with Dashi. Well, ages later, I finally spit out this little drabble. I've always figured he must miss him, and it must stink to have a friend who's life span is WAY shorter than yours.
Anyway... I think this came out pretty okay. Please review!
