Isadora Quagmire crumpled up the paper in frustration. She tossed the ball of paper into the waste basket next to her desk, wondering what was becoming of her. Lately, it has been getting quite difficult to write the simplest of couplets. Letting out a loud sigh, she began wondering about her friendships with others. The more she thought about it, the more she began to realize that her friends were really her family. Of course, it wasn't just Duncan and Quigley that she thought of as family, but the Baudelaires as well. Violet was a wonderful girl with a wonderful talent. Sunny was a marvelous child with marvelous skills. And Klaus was a… Isadora searched for a word to describe Klaus, but truth be told she could not think of the right word. Klaus wasn't just a friend to her, but a best friend. Out of all the people in her "family" she felt the closest to him. But why? Isadora put her head upon her desk and resumed her thinking once again.
