I don't own Gakuen Alice. This is just one of those one shot things. Enjoy.

The air had a smell of cold wetness to it. Looking over to the hills she could see the dark grey mass of clouds slowly heading towards the city. The thunder storm is coming. The slight breeze began to pick up, strong enough now to rattle the shutters of the windows. She hurriedly went and took in the laundry before it got soaked in the down pour. Rumbling thunder could be heard in the distance. She hoped the storm would pass by quickly. Thunder and lightening still manages to scare her. It started, the onslaught of pounding rain. Harsh "platters" of water droplets smacked against the window glass with the force of the howling wind. "Crack!" and a flash of white lightening sparked across the sky. She hurriedly ran to her bed and went under the covers. "I am not scared" she chanted. So focused on her litany she did not hear him come in. Her covers were slowly pulled back, and a large, warm but wet hand clamped onto her shoulder, the heat seeping through her clothes. She screamed, but as she turned around she cried out in relief instead and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Natsume" was all she could say. "Don't worry Mikan, I'm here now." he replied. They stayed together for the rest of the night, wrapped in each others arms, hearts content.
