Lily smiled to herself upon seeing her customers happy smile as she finished off his tattoo. He had been on the phone for most of the time and he'd been talking about going to Huntington for a few days. She was so used to doing deathbat tattoo's that they were routine now but everytime they were the one's that she gave the most for, everytime she felt so proud of the band that people loved them enough to get their tattoo and she knew firsthand just how much they had worked to get to this point. It had been nine years since she'd left the guys there and not a day had gone by that she missed them especially Jimmy. So much had changed for Lily, her accent had changed from the familiar Orange County one to almost cockney London, she hadn't even spoken to them since she left. Of course she heard their music all the time seeing as her tattoo shop was right next to the Kerrang head office but she made a point of not seeing their faces too much. Shaking her purple haired head out of her thoughts she inked the left wing on his forearm the youngish guy closed his phone and looked down at her progress.
"Ah darling that looks amazing!" She smiled up at the guy and said,
"I get a lot of these. Although the reason is often different, why'd you want it?" She went back to concentrating while the guy started talking again,
"I've been meaning to get it for so long but when I heard about the Rev I realised I had to get it. That's why I was on the phone, organising a flight to Huntington." She smiled at the mention of him and asked,
"What's he done now and why are you going to Huntington?" He gasped and looked down at her own deathbat tattoo on her forearm asmist the rest of her sleeve.
"You're a fan yeah?" She nodded but kept her head down looking at her work.
"How haven't you heard about him then?" She sighed because she hated telling people about how she was a fan but didn't keep up to date. It was so awkward everytime and looked up to see her client in a complete shocked face.
"He died a few weeks back! How don't you know?" Lily's body just stopped moving as she heard those words, the tattoo machine was still whirring but her hands stopped moving and she suddenly felt numb.
