p style="text-align: left;" It was the end of the school year, and then there was the wait for the next. Ness knew. He'd been here since Smash Academy Started. He knew changes were going to come. People were going to come and people were going to go. For now, he just had to hope that his friends could stay. It was troubled times for the Academy. Ness just wanted to come back again./p

p style="text-align: left;" "I'm worried, Ness. What if one of us doesn't make it to Year 4?" He asked./p
p style="text-align: left;" /p
p style="text-align: left;" "Don't worry, Lucas," Ness said, "I'm sure we'll get through this together." Lucas walked away after saying thanks. He was still worried though. Their fighting style was a bit too similar, and all the people here knew the simulations of their fights were coming to the 3DS as well as the Wii U. He wasn't sure how many people could fit, not to mention newcomers to the school might force him and other people out. He knew he wouldn't make it. /p

p style="text-align: left;" The Ice Climbers were well aware they probably couldn't make it, thanks to the dumb 3DS. However, they decided they could still come to the school, but skip the fights. When they asked about it to Principal Kong, he didn't see anything wrong with it. They could stay in the system despite the game's limitations. Then, finally, school ended./p

p style="text-align: left;" Lucas left the building at the bell, though he was still scared of what was to happen to him in Year 4. He saw the Ice Climbers walking by. They seemed perfectly happy, even though they knew they weren't supposed to be at the next year. He wasn't ready. Then Ness came back./p
p style="text-align: left;" /p
p style="text-align: left;" "Ness?" He asked./p
p style="text-align: left;" /p
p style="text-align: left;" "Yeah?" Ness replied./p
p style="text-align: left;" /p
p style="text-align: left;" "After that talk you gave me earlier, I'm still not confident I'm coming back."/p
p style="text-align: left;" /p
p style="text-align: left;" "Well, then I suppose all we can do is hope for now." Lucas left. He looked back at the Academy one more time before going home. Everybody who came to Smash Academy lived in Smashville. It was a fun place to be, even in Summer. However, Lucas was going to have to leave./p
