The game of capture the flag had begun quite some time ago. But not one of the players could tear their eyes away from the battle before them. Percy and Annabeth had run into each other while trying to locate the other's flag and began to fight. Everyone knew that the couple were strong and that they had a lot of stamina, but no one could have expected that they knew each other's moves so well.
The pair exchanged blow for blow, defending themselves from their significant other's barrage of attacks. Not one camper could take their eyes off of the two, watching in awe at the skills they each possessed. The battles were usually short in capture the flag, each dueler attacking only a few times before running off in search of the flag.
But, that wasn't the case with Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. Whenever the two bumped heads, a fierce duel for supremacy would occur, resulting in a large crowd of campers watching the two duke it out.
It wasn't until Chiron announced that the game was over that everyone snapped out of their trances and Percy and Annabeth ceased their fight to see Clovis standing on the blue team's side asleep with the red flag curled in his arms like a teddy bear, lying on the ground.
Annabeth would smile at Percy and give him a quick kiss, which he would return, making the Aphrodite kids gush about their cuteness and the Ares kids gag behind a tree.
