Finding Inspiration as an Actor;

Born in 1951, Thomas Mark Harmon, better known as Mark Harmon, is one of the most influential actors that I know!
Mark Harmon actually start acting, until he was of college! While he was a
student, he considered many careers in advertising and law; and look where he is
today! He plays one of TV's most recognisable cops!
His first acting gig was playing a GORILLA on the TV show "Ozzie's Girls".
Since then, he has been in over 72 TV shows and movies! Talk about experience!
Even with all this experience, his best know role is Special Agent Leroy
Jethro Gibbs on the hit CBS drama, 'NCIS'; which happens to be my favourite show.
I think Mark's biggest inspiration; was that acting is something to have fun
with!
Since his start, he is one of the best know actors out there!
In his personal life, he does wood-working for a hobby! It comes in handy on
NCIS, because Gibbs is quite avid in his carpentry projects as well! He was named
'Sexiest Man Alive' by 'People Magazine' in 1986, and according to his co-stars, he
is the most immature person on set!
In 1996, he risked his life to save two teenage boys, who were in a car
accident outside of his house. He used a sledge hammer to access the boys, and
pulled them out, to prevent them from burning to death. In the end, he actually
tried to down play his heroism!
Some of his other odd jobs before he became famous, were carpentry, life
guarding and even being a flower delivery boy, when he was 16!
Fun Fact: Mark has been known to wear shirts sent to him by his fans!
With an extensive filmography, a 38 year film career; so far, millions of fans
world-wide, an impressive number of award nominations, trade mark silver hair, as
well as a happy family of his own, Mark Harmon is one of the most amazing and
inspiring actors that I know!
