As Simple As A,B,C
The first three successors of L, my predecessors and perhaps the chronically insane people you could ever meet, Alternate, Beyond and Control. At first I considered piecing together the documents left behind by Beyond, the diary so carelessly kept by Control, and the lengthy suicide note written by Alternate, but I felt it more appropriate for myself, Miheal Keehl, to note down the events that occurred in Whammy's house during the stay of the first three mastermind copies as best as I know them. To give you a little context as to how I came about to posses this knowledge, it can easily be said that I was intrigued by my predecessors, most of all the infamous Beyond Birthday, though the reason for this fascination is that I simply did not wish to make the same mistakes as they did. So I did some research, I talked to those who knew them, I stole the files Roger kept under lock and key at the back of his office (with help from my good friend, Mail), I even spoke with the one and only L with which more questions were asked than answered. All in all, if they were alive, and I had a death note, their lives would have been mine if I were willing to take them.
So here we have it, the story of the first attempts at a second chance of the greatest detective of all time. This is the story of Alternate, Beyond and Control, otherwise known as: Plan A, Backup and Copy. The following details the lives of A,B and C. It's as simple as that.
