Bets
This is my first proper one-shot so any criticism on my spelling or grammar is welcomed. Morgana isn't evil. Gawain and all of them are knights.
Uther's POV
'Can I ask you why does the servant over there' ,he was pointing to a black headed man with a red top and blue neckerchief with a brown jacket on, 'keeps whispering to your ward and son?' King Dylan asked he is here to make sure our peace treaty is still intact. I looked over to where he is pointing where the servant is currently whispering in Arthur's ear, I couldn't quite catch what he was saying but Arthur kept a straight face not moving his head to say he heard what the servant said. The servant pouted at this which made Arthur smirk at him then the servant did something preposterous he stuck his tongue at the crowned prince. When I was about to say something Morgana burst out laughing which made the servant smile, which made Arthur laugh. 'I guess you lost Merlin.' At this the servant just smirked 'actually I betted on Morgana' When he said this most of my knight stood up and made their way to where the servant and Arthur were talking. 'Well done Merlin, I guess I owe you your money now?' Sir Gawain asked, I don't understand why so many people are talking to this man lower class than all of them. This Merlin just smirked at them and nodded Sir Leon signed and took his money out and handed some to Merlin so did Sir Gawain, Sir Lancelot, Sir Percival, Sir Elyan, Sir Mordred and Sir William. Most of the nobles were laughing at this. 'Wait all you bet on me?' asked Arthur astounded. 'Of course she isn't named the ice princess for a reason.' Sir Mordred said nodding his head towards Morgana. 'But I can still beat your ass Mordred.' Arthur put his hand in front of Merlin in which he signed and handed half the coins to him. 'Your debt to me is officially paid.' Arthur announced to which all the knights cheered. 'What is happening in my kingdom?' I asked Arthur he just looked at me then the knight and Merlin 'You guys should run.' To which they did dragging Arthur and Morgana laughing their heads off.
