Chapter 1
"Snap out of it, mom!"
Raven sighed. Freya had to do this, right in the middle of another pleasing flashback of her life as a Titan. Those had been great times.
"Yes, honey?"
"Phone for you"
Raven took the phone. It was probably her husband, Beast Boy, calling from his job at the insurance firm to ask what he should pick up at the store.
"Yes?"
" Hi Raven, this is Cyborg. Do you remember me?"
Raven gasped.
"Of course! How could I forget you?"
" Good. We (the Titans) need your and Beast Boy's help. Slade, Trigon, and Red X are on the rampage. We need all the help we can get."
"I'll have to ask Beast Boy, but I doubt it. I have two 12 year olds, a 5 year old, a 2 year old, and I'm pregnant again. I'm not sure I can manage……………………………I have a family now, Cyborg."
Cyborg was silent.
" All right, but please try."
"I will. Goodbye."
Raven hung up the phone as she walked through the kitchen. Things had changed so much. She wished that she could go back, but the children needed her. The 12 year old twins, Freya and Artemis, were going through a difficult time. They needed her help. 5 year old Nicole was a budding mini Raven, and 2 year old Emma needed a mother. And the baby that was coming was going to need one too.
But that would have to wait until tomorrow.
