Title: Thick and Thin
Drabble: #59
TK's prompt: Frog's legs
Randomly selected pairing: Mimato
Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon.
Notes: TK has returned from France. However, since I've only got seven more drabbles to go (not including this one), I'll keep Rave as my prompter too and ask whoever's most convenient at the time. Maybe I'll get two prompts for the last one, one from TK and one from Rave. And, as Joey quite rightly pointed out, this is my 100th fic! How good's that?

Yamato lay on his belly, his face pressed into the pillows. His stomach gurgled and he groaned, uncomfortable but too sluggish to move. He had that feeling; he knew he was going to throw up, he could feel it bubbling inside him. He just didn't know when it would happen.

It must have been the frog's legs.

He found himself questioning Mimi's choice of holiday for the hundredth time as he shifted slightly and shuddered involuntarily. He hadn't felt so ill since he'd last tasted one of Mrs Yagami's health food recipes. Both he and Taichi had been off school for about a week after eating that.

Some more noise came from his stomach and he wrapped his arms tightly around his waist. He'd already taken some French pills that were supposed to make him feel better, but so far they hadn't been particularly effective. Why had Mimi insisted that they taste the flavour of France instead of sticking to foods they knew wouldn't make them sick? It had been a ridiculous idea, leading to him lying on what could very well be his death bed.

Although, he had hoped that his death bed would be in a place more familiar than a French hotel.

The bed dipped with an added weight, making the contents of his stomach which had just started to calm down start churning once more, and he felt Mimi rub his back in an effort to make him feel better. It didn't work very well; in fact, it only served to make him feel worse, and he told her so.

She simply replied, in her usual animated manner, that it was the thought that counted. Yamato made a note to remind her of that when he ended up vomiting over her designer jeans.

But he couldn't deny that being near her did make him feel a little bit better, even if his being ill in the first place was all her fault.
