Birthday Jitters
Skating and Staring?
A/N: 1st fanfic in forever so don't blame me if I lost my touch. You may know me as MusicRae.
I closed my eyes as my father instructed. It's my 14th birthday and he's dragging me outside. 14, an unsymmetrical number. 'Symmetry is perfection.' My father always told me. So, everything had to be symmetrical to be perfect.
"Open your eyes." My father spoke. I opened them to find my father holding up a skateboard with green skin and skulls covering the bottom. I stared at it with amazement.
"You're grinning from ear to ear. I take it you like it."
I snapped out of a deep trance. I wasn't just thinking about the skateboard but behind my father was a beautiful girl. She had fair pale skin, shoulder length black hair with blood red bangs that which veil her right eye, and breath taking blood red eyes. Everything about her is symmetrical, except for her hair, which is perfect either way.
"Your silence says a thousand words. Why don't you try it out?"
He held the board out to me. I smiled and took the perfectly symmetrical board. I set it on the ground, hopped on it and began to skate. Somehow, I have special talents like skating at age 6. My father established an academy for young meisters and their weapons called the Death Weapon Meister Academy or DWMA. I'm enrolling for another one of my talents is Martial Arts. Plus, my soul wavelength is weak since I haven't found a perfect weapon.
