One morning, Tyler was walking to the grocery store to pick up some butter, milk, and eggs. Normally, his mother did the grocery shopping, but she was sick with the flu. All of the sudden, this boy a little taller than him jumped out from behind a car. He had a green faux hawk, blue eyes, and a black t-shirt with a skull on it. He grabbed him by the arm, breaking it, then knocked him out cold with a baseball bat that he found and broke his leg. Finally he cut him up with his knife and left him laying on the side of the road half dead.
When he woke up, he heard footsteps and the unmistakable sound of Lindsay's voice. "Oh my gosh LeFonda you have to see the new..." When she got to where Tyler was laying, she just said "Oh my gosh poor thing." then continued on her way.
A little while later, he heard Noah's sarcastic voice. "Noah's my buddy, surely he'll help me." thought Tyler. But he was wrong. When Noah came to where Tyler was laying, he just looked, grimaced, and kept going.
It was nearly dusk, when a car pulled up. And the person who was driving was Heather. "Oh great, it's Heather. She probably just wants to take pictures of me like this so she can post them on the Internet."
He was wrong again. She got out of her car and walked over to where he was laying. "Did Duncan do this to you?" she asked. "Yeah." Then she went and got the first aid kit out of her car and took out a bottle of antiseptic spray. "Alright Tyler this is gonna sting worse than a bee for a minute, but your cuts really need to be cleaned."
He winced as Heather diligently applied antiseptic to his cuts. When she was done, she took a look at him and checked him for obvious signs of other injuries, "It looks like your left leg and arm are broken." she said. "I'll have to take you to the nearest hospital asap."
So she put him in the back seat of her car and drove to Toronto Memorial. She carried him into the waiting room and laid him on a couch, then walked up to the desk clerk and told her what had happened "I found Tyler McKennly at the side of the road. He got beaten up pretty bad by Duncan Mazaleski. I think his left arm and leg are broken."
"Okay. We'll take him in."
Heather then reached into her purse and pulled out $200. "This is all the money I can pay you right now. If the bill comes up to more than this, I'll pay you on my way back."
