I Miss Them

In a place where I feel like I

belong

I've never felt so incredibly

lonely

I'm merely wearing a

mask

Hiding behind nothing more than a

safety blanket

Blue

and Red

and Grey

Clouding my vision from the

lies

Making me accept what I have

become

There are

however

Characters in my life that help me

see

People who pry my eyes

open

Remove my mask

and help me

realize

my true potential

My friends

and I miss them
