Hey readers, I just wanted to do this nice twilight story, well, enjoy

Perseverance

I couldn't stop. I was determined to keep going.

My feet crunched against the hard dirt. The trees flew by in blurs around me. Leaves stirred as I encountered their bunches, shredding when they came across my tough as leather skin. That was only if they could catch me.

Along I could hear faint footsteps of wildlife. The beating of their hearts were ringing through my ears.

I came close to small deer. My pace began to slow. I could sense its anxiety, and the blood flowing through its vanes. Deer's blood is never too appetizing, but I was so thirsty.

No

I demolished the thought.

You can't stop, you know that

Yet, my feet came to abrupt stop as I emerged the coast.

Crap

I couldn't continue. I would be swimming through the water for hours. The currents were hard to fight against, too. I contemplated on which direction to flee on, but only a second past when the familiar ringing voice caught up to me.

"Jasper? Where are you?"

Oh no, Alice

She was advancing at rapid speed behind me. I ceased my thinking and started sprinting along. The even drumming of my feet continued along the edge of the cliff.

"Jasper! I found you!"

No no no

She had proceeded out of the forest and was gaining on me. I pushed my legs as fast as they could go.

Perseverance Perseverance PERSEVERANCE

My body went tumbling into a river of water. The river water filled into my dead lungs. I tried to swim but something tugged on the back of my shirt pulling me out of the mucky darkness.

Alice was laughing hard, and dropped my onto a rigid boulder.

"Finally."

She bent over me with a wide smirk on her face. Her hand rose above her head and came down on my shoulder.

Here it comes

"Tag!" she said already sprinting along, "you're it!"

SO this was a little one shot I wanted to do. It has been a while since I've done any typing for fanfic, with school and all. FYI my profile is not up-to-date and I'll be changing it shortly.

I hope you enjoyed this
