A/N OK this is short But I wanted to know what you thought of it. I got the idea from this Email I had got a long time ago. Where this girl ask this guy the same questions. Anyway hope you enjoy.

Lily and James were laying down by the lake. Lily had her head on James's chest staring at the moving water. James was looking at the sky watching the clouds go by. It was close to the end of the year, right after taking the N.E.W.Ts. Both thought it was a good idea to relax at this point, but something was on Lily's mind that she just had to ask James.

"James, sweety."

"Hmmmm."

"Do you like me?" James didn't answer for a second. But his answer astounded Lily.

"No." He said plainly. Lily couldn't belive it. He didn't like her. Then why was he going out with her? Lily couldn't move she was shocked. Now she wanted to know something else.

"James, do you think I'm pretty?" She hoped he would say yes. She wouldn't be able to bear it if he didn't. Again he didn't answer for a second.

"No." Lily grew sad or was it mad. She couldn't tell. He didn't think she was pretty. Why not? Would he just dump her then? Now that he had her would he just get rid of her? One more question grew in her mind. She welded her self not to cry.

" If I died, would you cry?" She asked. She couldn't look at him. Not after those other things.

"No." He said simply.

Lily had, had enough. She stood up tears started to roll down her cheeks. He didn't like her, didn't think she was pretty, and he wouldn't care if she died. Nothing. What kind of person was he? She started to walk back toward the castle. Tears streaming down her face she didn't care if anyone saw. She just couldn't be around James anymore. But before she got close to the castle James stopped her. He grabbed her hand and turned her around.

"I don't like you, I LOVE you." James said wiping away some of her tears. He paused. "I don't think your pretty, I think your beautiful." Wiping away the rest he said. "And I wouldn't cry if you died, I would have died myself. I wouldn't be able to live without you." He was looking directly in to her eyes. She smiled a bit before more tears started to pour out of her eyes.

"Oh James." She said while throwing her arms around him. He lifted her head to met his. Before kissing her. She smiled before deeping the kiss. James pulled away.

"Why did you ask those questions anyway?"

Lily looked deep into his hazel eyes.

"Just making sure you love me." She said.

"I'll ALWAYS love you."He said before kissing her again.
