'Lo to you!
I just re-wrote this. I first posted this ages ago and it was horrible!
I don't own Harry Potter, J.K Rowling does.
Enjoy...
"Remus, Remus."
Sirius watched as Remus' eyelids fluttered open to reveal hazy brown eyes.
"Hey there, Moony," Sirius said a bit too load for Remus's liking.
Remus turned his head and looked out of the open window; a slight breeze was brushing against his face. Out the window he could see the bright blue sky devoid of any clouds and the green grass seemed too vivid for his eyes to handle. Judging by the amount of light outside it was mid-morning. Remus squinted and he turned back to Sirius's stormy grey eyes.
"Dumbledore let me take the morning classes off to come and see you," Sirius grinned crookedly at Remus. "That man is almost as brilliant as me!"
"Dumbledore will be Dumbledore," Remus croaked out, his throat feeling scratchy and uncomfortable.
"Hey, I bought you some Honeydukes'," the dark-haired boy said. He whispered just loud enough for himself and Remus to hear. Remus knew that prior to entering the cubical Sirius had cast a privacy charm – he always did. However, Sirius was just trying to improve his dreary mood by doing something against the rules and slightly exciting. It was something of a ritual – Sirius would come to Remus's bedside and attempt to make him feel better.
Remus smiled although it hurt his face. "Thanks," he said the words almost a whisper.
Sirius brushed a few strands of light brown hair away from Remus's pale face and tucked it behind one of his ears. Remus shivered slightly at his soft touch and he could feel colour rising in his, undoubtedly pale, face.
"How are you feeling?" asked Sirius.
"I've been better," Remus replied and smiled properly as Sirius' chuckle reached his ears.
"I know what'll cheer you up!" stated Sirius.
"Really now, Padfoot?" retorted Remus.
"There's some Defence homework on my bedside table just calling your name," remarked Sirius a cheeky glint in his eyes.
"Get James to help you," Remus said as he rolled over.
"I wish. He's useless at the moment; thinks he's discovered a new way of getting into Evans's pants," Padfoot sighed and Remus laughed.
"Let's just hope Pomfrey will release me today, then," Remus raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah, let's hope."
