Taken
Percy
Hello. You might know me. My name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. You might be thinking Wait, like the greek god? If so, then yes, yes it is. I have fought Titans and Giants and Monsters, and even the evil earth goddess. But here's the thing. There is one thing I couldn't win in a fight… and here's the story.
I sat in the dimly lit subway with a huge crowd. I was waiting for Annabeth, my girlfriend. Annabeth had long blond hair in golden locks. Her stormy grey eyes were beautiful yet intimidating. She had an athletic figure that would… er… attract a lot of men wanting to lose some valuable body parts.
So as I waited, I noticed a tall man in a brown trench coat just staring at me. Just looking at him gave me chills up my spine. I tried looking at his head but it looked like nothing was there. Soon, the train pulled in and my thoughts about the man were gone. Annabeth emerged as beautiful as ever.
I ran up to her and hugged her tight. "Aw Percy," Annabeth said. "I missed you." I was about to say I missed you too when a roar like thunder shook the station. I looked at the origin of the sound, and where the man in the trench coat was supposed to be, was a giant dragon. At first I thought it was a hydra because it looked like on, but then I noticed its heads. There were a hundred of them (Or that's what I guessed).
"Typhoeus," I yelled. "I thought you were in Etna. By the way how was your heads after I cut them off?" "P-Percy," Annabeth stuttered. Look at what's on his back." I looked saw a man in gold. He wore a mask with the face of a Gorgon. Chrysaor.
"Jackson, when I say it's not over. That means it is not over," he said, every word with venom. "I waited five years to get my revenge, and I plan on having it." He unsheathed two golden swords and the monster charged. I uncapped Riptide and told Annabeth to go. "Go!" I ordered. "Percy I-" she started. "I said go!" She hesitantly began to run.
I charged the monster slashing at it, trying to destroy it. "PERCY! HELP!" A voice cried. That was when I noticed the complete chaos. People were screaming and running in every direction trying to escape. Chrysaor was slashing away at everybody. People fell to the ground dead. I only knew one sword that could hurt mortals.
I tried to find Annabeth in the anarchy. When I did I noticed it was too late. Chrysaor had her clutched in his hand. He just saluted with his free arm, and he disappeared along with Annabeth. I wanted to just stop. Annabeth was gone, but I had a job to do. I turned and faced the dragon.
I began slashing at it again. Soon I found its chink and as I was about to strike, one of its head plowed into me. I was thrown into a wall. My vision was blurry, and I could barely stand up. I wasn't done. I threw my sword at the chink of its armor. It roared in agony as Riptide hit its mark. Soon, it was nothing but dust.
I fell to my knees. She was gone. I didn't know where she was, but I knew what I had to do. I had to go to a place I haven't seen for three years. I was going to camp.
Well guys that was my first chapter. So if you enjoyed it, please review and favor it! Peace.
