Chapter 1

It wasn't what you'd expect, I mean, five girls against a team of guys, talk about weird. Okay, here's where everything went weird...

* A few days ago*

I was running, away from something, from someone? I didn't really know. Darkness surrounded me, like it was going to smother me. An evil laugh sounded behind me then a light shown at the end of the tunnel, so thats where I went.

A bright light shone in my face, "No!" I hissed and wrapped my self in my blankets like a burrito,

"C'mon Jess we need your help." Someone grabbed my ankles and tried to pull me off my bed. I grabbed the bars on my headboard and held on for dear life. Finally he gave up and let me go, "Jess, seriously, this is a matter of life or death." Tony said, I sat up and saw him and Director Fury in my room,

"Seriously guys it's..." I looked at my clock, "10 in the morning on a Saturday, why the hell are you here?" I looked down and saw they were wearing shoes, on my white carpet, "C'mon guys, we don't pay Geoffrey to clean our carpets every time someone walks on the carpet with their shoes on." I got up,

"Parker this is serious." Director Fury said,

"Okay I understand, but next time take off your shoes before telling me something important." I went into my bathroom,

"Meet us at the base in half an hour." Fury said, I heard them walk out.

I was driving when a beam of light flashed down on the road, I screamed and slammed on the breaks. Standing two inches in front of my car was a familiar blonde Asgardian, "Dammit Thor!" I exclaimed,

"Lady Jessica, I did not mean to frighten you."

"Kill me is the more appropriate term, get in." he nodded and got in the passenger seat. I continued driving, "This must be bad if you're here." I said,

"There is a problem, a problem that has plagued Asgard for thousands of years." He said,

"Sounds like a pretty big problem, are we going to have to deal with Loki again?"

"Not just Loki, he is only part of the problem."

"What's the other part?"

"Lorelei."
