1A dose of Jim Halpert
Pam is lying on the couch, trying to stay awake. She doesn't feel very good. Her stomach hurt, her head hurt, and she just wishes Jim would hurry up and get home already.
Jim went out to get a movie, and some pizza, which now she will not be eating because the smell of food is not going to go well with her stomach.
About 10 minutes later, Jim walks in, holding bags. "Hey" he warmly greets setting the bags on the counter, and kneeling down beside her on the couch. He gives her a sweet kiss. "Hey" she replies smiling. If there was anything that could make her feel better it was Jim Halpert. He looks at her, and notices she looks a little pale. He rubs her hair. "Hey are you feeling okay?" his face filled with concern as he felt her forehead.
"No I feel like crap" her voice growing horse. His hand cups her cheek, and replies sweetly, "Aw. Well I guess that means you need a visit to Dr. Halpert's Office" his smile growing with each word. She can't help but grin, his is just too adorable for words.
"Well that depends, is Dr. Halpert's office Dwight Proof?" He chuckles briefly and assures her it is.
"Come on" he says before he picks her up off the couch (getting an adorable squeal from her) and brings her into the kitchen, and sets her on the counter.
"Hmm let's see" he says looking through the drawers. "Ah ha" he says pulling out a thermometer. That's one thing that she loves, she doesn't have to tell him where to look for certain stuff anymore. He knows where everything is. It's the same with his apartment, she knows where everything is, and it's a weird thing for her to notice but she loves it.
"Okay now open your mouth" she gives him a mock, shocked face, as she replies "Dr. Halpert!" Then she can't help but giggle as he slaps her leg playfully. He grins, as she finally opens her mouth and puts in the thermometer.
After about a minute or so, he takes it out. "100.1" he says looking at her. "Well that explains it" she replies miserably; rubbing her head.
He smiles sadly, and wraps his arms around her pulling her into a hug. Her heart melts. He moves his head into her hair, and the crook of her neck, giving her soft kisses.
She can't believe how perfect he is. He knows exactly what she needs and when she needs it. He knows when to be fun and playful, but he also knows when to be serious, and intense... He knows when to comfort her, and when she wants to be alone, but that's rarely been happening since they have started going out.
He pulls back, and gives her forehead, a long sweet kiss.
"Why don't you take some Tylenol for now, to make the fever go down?" She nods.
"Yea, that's good. But I also know something else I need to take" he looks at her confused. "What?"
"Well, I have been taking it for a while, even when I'm happy" his face looks concerned. "What? What have you been taking?"
"Well it's called Jim Halpert" her face as serious as it can get. He smiled, relieved that she was only kidding. His face turning intrigued, as she continues.
"Its very strong, it's very capable, and it makes me very happy. It gives me the best feeling in the world, and gives me the uttermost fantastic mind blowing, sweet amazing love that I've ever received in my entire life"
He looks at her thoughtful for a moment letting it all sink in, and then grins holding her hands, linking their fingers.
"Hmm okay, so how long have you been taking this?" he can't help but play along. "Hmm" she looks at thought for a moment, then replies, "About a year. And I never have to get refills, and if it's possible, I never want to stop taking it" looking into his eyes.
His arms wrap around her again as he replies, "Oh it's possible" she laughs pulling him tighter towards her, then pulling him in for a really romantic kiss.
