"Daddy?" Aelita questioned fearfully as she saw three men come closer to her house. Unsure as to why they were there, she hugged Mister Puck closer to her chest. The only thing she knew was that this couldn't be good.
"Yes, Aelita? What is it?" Franz Hopper asked in a concerned tone. Even though he knew what was happening, he tried not to think about it. After he noticed Aelita's quivering, how could he even begin to explain?
Suddenly, he heard the men in black call something out. Their words were lost in the wind, but their menacing intentions were understood.
"Aelita, follow me! Quick!" he yelled, panicked they might get his daughter. As they were racing outside, he heard Aelita's sudden scream. When he looked behind his back, he realized she had tripped.
"Aelita!"
Franz couldn't let her go. They were so close. How was he supposed to protect her? Right when the men in black were behind Aelita, he sprinted past and picked her up. When they were about to be sent into Lyoko he put his daughter down in a gleaming scanner.
"I'll see you in a couple minutes, honey," he said gently, entering the scanner opposite Aelita.
"Okay, Daddy," Aelita responded confused and anxious to see where they were going. She had never even known about this factory.
"Jeremie!" Aelita cried with tears rolling down her face and cold sweat dripping from her forehead. She didn't know if her dream was even a dream or not. What if it was a nightmare?
Either way, she told her friends about her vision during lunch. Jeremie wore a look of concern in his eyes while Odd told Ulrich and Yumi about Jim seeing Kiwi in the hallway earlier. Still, Odd caught bits and pieces of what Aelita was saying.
"Don't worry, Princess. As long as you have me around, your dreams should be wonderful because I'm a perfect dream in person." Odd laughed as Jeremie chided him to be serious.
While she laughed, Aelita realized that even if it was just a dream, it didn't matter as long as she had her friends.
Just a short little fic I decide to write after me and my sister watched 12 episodes of Code Lyoko. (Usually we have something better to do but what's better than eating popcorn, drinking soda, and watching the best television show?)I thought one of the episodes where Aelita had a huge flashback was sad and right after I had the urge to write this. Hope you enjoyed my first Code Lyoko fic.
