Lily Evans studied in the darkest, most secluded corner of the common room. Why she did this, would be self explanatory if one only cared to look, or listen. The common room was insanely noisy, filled with giggled teens, all seated in a circle. They were apparently playing some manner of a game. Lily didn't much care. She was busy, and that was really all that mattered to her.
It came as a bit of a surprise when someone familiar broke away from the group, and came walking towards her. A black haired familiar someone. No, not James Potter. Sirius Black approached, sitting beside Lilly. Several people giggled and watched as he sat down, crossing his legs, setting his clasped hands upon his knee.
"'Lo, Evans." Sirius' tone was distinctly casual. Too casual.
"Black." Lily greeted, tone chilly.
Sirius was leaning towards her. Close… too close. As a matter of pride, Lily did not lean away. However Sirius was still getting closer.
"Lovely weather." Sirius said, casually.
Lily inclined her head a fraction of an inch,
"Hm." She hummed.
When Lily nodded her head a bit forward, she suddenly found Sirius' lips upon hers. She squeaked in surprise, pulling quickly away, slapping Sirius across the face with little thought.
"BLACK! What the hell do you think you're doing?"
People in the circle cheered, clapped, and whistled, as Sirius walked back over to join the circle. He never did answer Lily's question, but his next words to James did.
"Truth, or dare, mate?"
