Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria all the ponies lived in peace and harmony.
But all that changed when the Alicorn King was struck down by the evil king Sombra as he attempted to conquer the land but with the combined magic of the alicorn princesses, unicorn army and the elements of harmony he was imprisoned forever in pits of the dark dimension where only fear resides.
Three hundred years later Twinkle Pie awoke in a cell in the Canterlot dungeon marking off another day on the wall with her horn as she heard guards walking towards her cell. Twinkle Pie quickly turned round and saw Princess Luna through the bars who said loudly
"Guard open this door at once!"
Luna walked inside and said
"Dear Twinkle Pie it's been too long since our last visit"
"Yes it has Princess" Twinkle Pie replied
Princess Luna quickly opened a secret passage behind Twinkle Pie and said
"You must go to Ponyville Equestria itself will depend on you"
A soldier then walked in and stood next to Luna as she said
"Twinkle Pie this is Shining Armor he will protect you on your journey"
"Come with us princess!" Twinkle Pie replied as she followed Shining Armor into the passageway
"No my pupil, I have my own part to play in the events to come" luna said before closing the passageway behind them
