Waiting for the time to pass you by.

Kyouya was sitting on a bench in the airport, sipping on a frapuccino, fresh from McDonalds. In fivr minutes Hikaru would arrive, and they would say their good-byes

Hope the winds of change will change your mind.

Kyouya could not. But sooner or later, he knew he would. The tears streamed down his face as he sadly scrolled through the pictures of him with Hikaru. Them at McDonalds, hasbrowns in thier mouths, making funny faces. Them at the park, Hikaru walking her dog, while both of the drank cola the Kyouya had bought earlier. But those days would end soon. Four minutes and sixteen seconds, to be exact.

I could give a thousand reasons why.

Why what? Why he could stay? Why he should go? Kyouya was being torn apart.

And I know you, and you've got to, make it on your own but we don't have to grow up, we cna stay forever young.

If only that were true. Kyouya was crying hard now, his tears dripping off his face, falling onto his phone screen.

Living on my sofa drinking rum and cola, underneath the rising sun.

He wished he could stay, and live on his sofa. With Hikaru.

I could give a thousand resons why.

He knew now. He could not go. But he had to. The next line rang in his mind and crushed his heart.

But you're going, and you know that.

He did? But why did he have to go? The chorus started playing in his mind as Hikaru walked through the door. He ran up to her, tears running, and as they hugged, Hikaru cried, too.

All you have to do is stay a minute, just take your time, the clock is ticking, so stay.

He took off the necklace he always wore, and clasped it around Hikaru's, his fingers lightly brushing her black and gold choker. "Remember me."

All you have to do is wait a second, your hands on mine, the clock is ticking, so stay.

Then as they finished up their good-bye, he hugged her again. "I'll come back. I promise." And then he left.
