Prompt: How about the two of them riding a tandem bike

Paige was starting to fear for her life. The tandem bike had seemed like a fun idea when the rental guy had suggested it, but she and Emily were quickly realizing it wasn't as easy as it looked. They kept wobbling, and every time a turn was coming they rode over the grass to try to keep in a straight path (they could barely manage to keep the bike upright in a straight line, they were sure to fall if they tried turning). Emily, who sat on the front seat, chuckled nervously. "This is actually really hard," she said.

Paige silently agreed. She wasn't sure which was worse, not steering or steering. She looked up from her handle bars and saw they were about to head into the lake. "Holy shit, Emily watch out!" she yelped.

But Emily couldn't turn the bike-why had they gotten a three-seater, she wondered-without making them eat pavement. In a matter of seconds, the girls made a loud splash into the water.

Good thing they both knew how to swim.
