Takes place after the movie. Max is sitting next to his sister on her bed, while Justin is out getting groceries for his their mom and dad.
Max was fidgeting, and Alex looked at him curiously and worriedly because Max was never nervous.
ALEX: Maxie? Whats wrong? Why are you so nervous?
MAX: Well, I'm scared. It's embarrassing and I want to tell you but...
ALEX: Maxie dont worry, I won't make fun of you......Alex placed her hands on her brother's shoulder seriously
MAX: Well, after the whole stone of dreams thing, I'm scared that if you and Justin go away from me, you'll never come back.
Max looked down, embarrassed, while Alex lifted his chin up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She pulled him into a big hug, and sat him on her lap.
ALEX: Max, thats not gonna happen. But its ok if you feel that way because I'm here for you Maxie
MAX: So you don't think I'm a total wimp and a baby?
ALEX: Of course I don't Max. I love you.
Max smiled and put his head on Alex's chest. They talked about a lot of things, and Alex was surprised about all the stuff she didn't know about Max, and she was also surprised that Max knew everything about her. She decided to be a better sister, and always be there for him. Alex looked down, and saw Max sleeping on her lap. She decides to put him on her bed, but he's holding her hand, looking really cute sleeping. She shrugs and falls asleep with her head on his head.
Alex wakes up, and yawns. She looks around. She sees Max sleeping on top of her with his arms around her waist, and his head snuggled into her stomach. She remembers their conversation last night.
I still can't believe he knew everything about me! I'm going to be a better sister to him. He deserves it. Aww, look at him! He looks so sweet sleeping.
Alex smiled and gently kissed Max's curly brown hair. His face moved and he snuggled some more, burying his face in Alex's stomach. Then, his eyes fluttered open. He sat up.
MAX: What happened? Alex? I'm in your room? I'm really sorry...I'll go
Max made a move to get off the bed, and Alex grabbed him before he could move. She pulled him back onto her, and he sat with his head on her shoulder.
ALEX: Maxie, its okay. I'm not mad at you. I'm not going to punish you for being in my room. Was I really that mean to you before the vacation?
MAX: Well, not exactly mean. You cared for me, but most of the talking we did was you yelling at me. But you said you'd be a better sister, so its okay.
Alex and MAx sat there for a few minutes before finally deciding to get up. They both got ready for school, and then they left.
ALEX: Man, I'm finally gonna be at school on time
MAX: No your not. I don't wanna go to school today. Lets ditch! We can go to the fair instead!
ALEX: Good idea brother, lets go!
And with that, the pair went off to the carnival, completely forgetting about school altogether. Alex realized how much fun she had been missing out with her brother, and Max enjoyed every minute of the carnival. Together, they made their way back home, and started planning on doing a prank on Justin.
