Kate Beckett comes home – to the loft- after a borning day at work without Castle. All she wants to have is a nice evening with her finacé at home. But Castle is still in meetings with Black Pawn.
But when she comes through the door, the loft is filled with candles and slow music. Kate smiles 'cause she thinks it's Rick waiting for her. Wrong. Her smile dorps when she sees Pi standing in the sea of candles.
" Oh sorry, I didn't know you and Alexis wanted the evening to spend here together-"
But Pi doesn't let her finish "This isn't for Alexis, it's for you!" is all he says as he comes closer.
"What?" more isn't Beckett able to speak.
" Well, yeah, you impress me Kate and I feel something special between us and as much as I like Alexis, I find myself falling for you." He answers truly.
" First of all it's Beckett for you, the second thing you are the boyfriend of MY fiancé's daughter.
We hardly know each other this all is just crazy. Is this just a silly joke?" It's what Kate manage to say, still confused about this whole thing.
As Pi wants to answer Kate stops him " Look, I'm willing to forget about all this, if you will never let such a thing happen again. You will stay away from Rick and I and will think clearly about how you fell about Alexis, 'cause if you play with her you won't be happy again. That's for sure.
So do we understand us?" Pi nods and in this moment Rick enters the loft.
He's quite surprised to find his fiancée like this with this Pi in near next to each other in a romantic location. Castle clears his throat and asks "What's this?"
Suddenly Beckett and Pi (who looks shocked) look at him, and Pi steps back Kate awnsers "Pi wanted to surprise Alexis, but forgot that she's out with Martha."
Rick nods, walks to Kate takes her in his embrance and says "In that case, you should clean this all up and leave us alone" without waiting for Pi's reaction he takes Kate to their of them thinking about what happened with Pi. They have just eyes for each other.
Pi's blows out the candles and makes everything as it was before and goes to Alexis room waiting for her but just thinking about Kate…
